My Interests

Riding my honda scooter,ok,ok...but at over 100mpg,can you really blame me?? or my Trek Navigator bike;[thanks michael]**** listening to my favorite oldies: Beatles, Monkees, Dino, Desi, and Billy,...WHO???!!!WHAT???!!!, i know, i know,BUT think dean martins son,desi arnaz son,who are they you say,and more of the who are theys, The Cowsills,Susan Cowsill, and other 60's & 70's pop on my mp3 player...(or "bubblegum music" as some would call it); I don't like rap for sure! I like relaxing @ STARBUCKS((love it)) or KC's and sipping coffee; eating @ CHILI's, or The Macaronni Grill in Memphis; I like going to the malls,REALLY; I love mowing my yard ..again REALLY I DO,..but ON MY RIDING MOWER of course,//// and smelling fresh cut grass in the spring;//// I love the fragrant summer evenings; I LOVE my new HOFNER BASS guitar...probably because Paul McCartney (BEATLES),yeah john,paul,ringo,and george, played one,plus their lightweight,easy to play; I love movies that leave you feeling good,the kind that brings out the tissues in a good sense, not sad movies; I love comedy, clean comedy, not trash;and working with the kids,in the DOGHOUSE on wednsday night,get it DOG,"deciples of God"doing puppets,teaching them PRAISE AND WORSHIP,playing ping pong,the kids are great!!!basketball,walking....oh and Atlanta Braves baseball, I never miss a game...unless I have to......I even tape the ones I do have to miss,and save them for winter off season.....

I'd like to meet:

our ******LORD JESUS CHRIST*****!!!!! {First and above all}!!!!!,...also i'd love to sit and talk to "PAUL McCartney "about anything....billy hinsche,of dino desi and billy....george lindsay(GOOBER)from the andy griffith show,and BARNEY,(DON KNOTTS)...my favorite tv series of all time by the way...hey sometimes I have even wished corinth was instead ""MAYBERRY""...YOU KNOW,go by the filling station on saturday nite and get a bottle of pop,and sit there and listen to the crickets chirping,church sunday morning,then over to andys for HOMEMADE ICECREAM.....YEAH!!!!!NOW THATS LIVING....a bit corny in somes eyes,but if it is,then I guess I'm that way...and also that would mean no more computers,dvds,cells,microwaves,mp3 players,satellite tv and radio...would it really be worth it...........for me yep!!!!!!!!hey ...no more walmart...all stores uptown.......great saturdays downtown,movies,shopping......i would love it !!!!

Music:

PLAYING BASS GUITAR , " I would love playing more than i do ",playing at church is such a blessing tho,.....Praise and worship (takes you to that special place we can go to when we let go, to escape the stormy weather of life..that warm and cozy place in the presence of god...."euphoria"...., that "new wine")....,LOVE PLAYING BASS FOR ""BAREFOOT""...(cant get enough of it)...rockin christian music,...i love Paul Baloche,michael o'brian,LINCOLN BREWSTER,ROSS PARSLEY, Steven Curtis Chapman, John Ragsdale, David W. Huff, David and the Giants, Vicki Yohe,kim walker,crystal lewis,kari jobe,jessie goodman,bebo norman ...most all the new praise and worship stuff and some older stuff as well... " i play bass in our praise and worship band at church " ...and i love HOFNER bass guitars,***have i mentioned Hofner enough???,sorry,also a cherry red EPIPHONE SG 60's style bass,rather heavy but it has a COOL tone with roundwound strings,very very sixties,also have a FENDER PRECISION and a FENDER JAZZ BASS, { very trebly sounding guitars },i have an old {very very old} hollowbody "MARQUES" electric,40yrs old,mint condition,49.95 in 1967,CHEAP HUH,but i played it in our band at that time,...THE ALUMINUM ESCAPADE...,now hows that grab you for a sixties band name,lol,plus an ALVAREZ acoustic{I got it when i was like 15,1 ovation 12 string,well the 12 is an applause,but has a round back...,***((so you could say music has been a huge part of my life))***,had a small 4 track recording studio in the early 80's,NOAHS ARK RECORDING,LOT OF FUN BACK THEN.... Also,I love my oldies on XM satellite radio on summer afternoons on the porch, or while working in the yard.

Movies:

PASSION OF THE CHRIST,or "the Love of the Game", 61,baseball movies,yep, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail,and old football movie called "BRIANS SONG",about GAYLE SAYERS,and BRIAN PICCALO who was dying with cancer,,another oldie,"LOVE STORY"...pretty much any clean movie without bad language that has a meaningful plot.

Television:

Andy Griffith Show, American Idol, , The Waltons, Atlanta Braves baseball,used to love a show from the 60's,TALENT PARTY,out of memphis tn.,GEORGE KLEIN was the host,"where the action is",a Dick Clark production,also "Happening 68 ",Paul Revere and the Raiders appeared quite often and were the hosts.wish they'd release these on dvd....hint hint Mr.Clark,also AMERICAN BANDSTAND,ha,we did a local show in TUPELO,MS.called the MORNING SHOW,the late BUDDY BAIN was the host,ELVIS PRESLEY was actually a friend of Buddies,and stayed at his house some before he got huge in the entertainment industry,and of course ELVIS was born in TUPELO,......i think i have every movie he ever did on dvd,all 26 of them.

Books:

BIBLE....BIBLE.....BIBLE....especially the psalms and proverbs for daily reading...and THE CASE FOR CHRIST by LEE STROBELgreat book......

Heroes:

JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.,,,,my grandmother who raised me by herself is my hero as well,she done without to give to me,she has passed but i know she is surely with Jesus for she was a model for me who taught me about the Lord,,.....
