About Me
The music of TOMO is strongly influenced by many of various traditional music in all around the world, such as blues, Celtic, Indian, Persian, Arabic, Central Asian, Japanese, medieval, renaissance, and baroque in the west. While his understanding of traditional music has been enthusiastic, on the other hand, he pays attention to stream of consciousness which is derived from sound, and uses aspects of minimalism, ambient, and electronica as musical factors based on his own interpretation. On the basis of influences from these, he aims to reach the roots of music with his floating poetic language.
