i'm 25, i live in Leeds, "the most rok'n'roll city in the country", where I work at leeds met university doing a spot of lecturing, and i study a Masters in Politics at leeds Uni (the proper one).still, its not all rok'noll, I also maintain sanity by attempting to sing, write songs and play guitar. I've been in a couple of bands and I'm starting at my next project now. fancy a jam? no? me neitherI have a thing for politics, reading books, watching films, but mostly listening to and babbling about music for days on end.I have been a DIY promoter and compere for about four years, with my crew The Engine Room. We put gigs on once a month for decent new bands in Leeds - usually at the historic Brudenell Social Club, and sometimes we put records out for bands too when we've got any cash. we've put on some sweet bands i tell thee.I am most definitely part of the musically snobby, socially elite clique of the leeds music scene, and i regularly take drugs with rich arrogant people, with whom I also exchange hair tips and girlfriends. its great.as a piscean i am continually yearning for better things, but as a true Brit I've learned to hide it and pretend everything is fine. its fine its fine its fine...
