The Impending Moustache

Founded in August 2006, The Impending Moustache Comedy Troupe is a sneeze-up of Monty Python, Anne Bogart, CNN and Euripides. Our work is meticulously written and epic in scope!
This innovative nine-some fuses the uneasy with the innocent, the deliberate with the whimsical, and the nonsensical with the literate. Whether it's Mama Medea bidding a cathartic farewell to her PSP3-playing sons or an episode of The L-Word as told by Jane Austen, we effortlessly combine classic comedy with contemporary insanity.
Our unique voice ranges from the hilariously satirical (Telemundo's retelling of the Donner Party) to the erotically absurd (a girl's passionate tryst with her morning oatmeal).
We also incorporate live keytar and accordion into each of our sketches.
Whatever it is, we attack our material with a joyous and infectious theatricality. We send our audiences home shaken with laughter so constant, it gives them nightmares. Beautiful, vivid nightmares.
