About Me

I'm an actor and writer from Alabama with a Bacon Number of 4. As my comedy page may imply, I do more humor-based material. I currently write for Epiphany Magazine or sometimes I'm just adding some random quibble to my blog , which could always use more subscribers . I've written several comedic screenplays that have been praised by a few competitions and recently got one optioned. Right now, I don't have much capability when it comes to travel, so I'm working with the extremely talented film community here in the south, playing indie film director. As for the films I directed, Jason and Jason was my first attempt and I feel as if it was a real learning experience. Hopefully that progress will show in my upcoming project, I-CAN-D , which is a mockumentary about a politically driven boy band, are we curious? Both of which are screening at Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival , so hopefully, I'll see you out there. My production team is called Sprankle Studios , which is made up of Alan Lazer, Chris West, my two brothers, William and Paul and myself. We do both drama and comedy, depending on whose writing it. I'm not saying I'd never write a drama, but that's mainly Alan's specialty. It's pretty easy to tell whose a fan of Mel Brooks and whose a fan of David Lynch. Less than a year old, Sprankle a very young and prepubescent company, but we've made it count by winning 2nd place at the last Sidewalk Scramble and were nominated for best picture and selected to be screened on AT&T at the Campus Movie Festival, so I think we're off to a good start.
