Sir Scotsman of Spain is an answer to the cries of all those who have longed for the groove for a very, very long time. Inspired by bonecrunching mayhem funk and the syncopated rhythms of the godfathers of blues&jazz, they bring this groove, to the ultimate.
Backed up by two new funksoldiers; frontman Sadistic Statistic (aka The Mean) and Sugar Deddie, the band formerly known as “James†evolved to something new. From its ashes, Sir Scotsman of Spain was born, in january 2006.
These guys rock out on the spot. On stage, they bring their raw funkrock to the max with hard hitting rhythms that keep your heart muscle pumpin'. Sir Scotsman of Spain is a live experience you must have witnessed. The Mean spits his linguistic lunacy with power and verve, while the heavy grooves keep on coming. This year, the Sir is definitely on a roll: Sir Scotsman already played the Eurosonic Festival, Bevrijdingsfestival Groningen and did a couple of shows in Germany. The holy hipshaking-mission continues and be sure.. their swinging's gonna shatter every stone cold face.
