Let the skies open wide! Let Your child see Your eyes! Iris to Iris, I will be waiting!!!

About Me

Hey guys! My name's David Edward and I'm really into God, who created all things!
I'm also really into all kinds of music from intense to acoustic, as long as God enjoys it too!.
I just want to live my whole life to glorify Him!
I live in southern New Jersey at the moment.
I love nature... forests, mountains, lakes, the seashore, ocean. I so wish that I lived out in the country!

I have a disability some label " CFIDS (Chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndrome) " which prevents me from living elsewhere. I live in a small room downstairs in my parents house.
My parents are older now and my Dad had a stroke earlier this year. He is back home now, but immobile. Please pray for him!
Living at their home here is all I can afford at the moment, lacking hardly any much income. Please pray also for me that I can find a place to stay that costs very little.
I am willing to do whatever the Lord wills for my life.
I love worship and music!
I always have much pain in head and my throat as well as swollen lymph nodes in my neck. (This by the way makes it difficult for me to sing; It cuts off my higher range.) I also suffer from fatigue, dizziness, lack of concentration, short term memory loss, and various other things. So, pray for this as well of course!
God has been teaching me recently (in my spirit) that there is "pain in the offering," and that my life is a love offering to Him. He's teaching me it's not about how many people I help "get saved," even though "the more the merrier!" Salvation, that is peace with God, knowing Him intimately/ the Holy Spirit within, Heaven to come! is such a blessing beyond our ability to comprehend! But I've discovered that it's really about "How much do I truly love Him?
Blessed be Your name
ON THE ROAD MARKED WITH SUFFERING
THOUGH THERE'S PAIN IN THE OFFERING

Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name
I wrote this song (below) recently that's about asking God to be my songwriter, filling me only with His wants, His dreams and purely His desires!
Be My Songwriter
Philipians 3:7-14
Someone's got a hold of my dreams
Imagining the things I cannot see
Unveiling deeper things my chasms could not see
Unscraping all the vintage hardship that's in me
Someone's got a hold of my heart
And He's renewing in my spirit a brand new world
A whole new universe where I've never been before
An escape...alas...to somewheres I adore
You are my songwriter!
Weaving through Your lyrics in my mind
Where deep inside
Play Your music loud and strong!
You penetrate my soul!
Oh Lord, Your songs bring hope to me
New meaning to all I know
Be my songwriter

Someone's got a hold of my thoughts
Reevaluating all the things I have lost
When once fairytales said all my dreams would come true
I've realized that all my dreams are found in You, Lord!
I am listening!
Please SPEAK to me
As I humbly give my life
Is it SUCH a sacrifice
What You are is mercy
What You are is love
What You are brings all my hope to You in heaven above

My Interests

Hillsong United /Brooke Fraser "Hosanna"

My interests are God, music that honors Him, His creation, mountains, beaches, mountains, forests, etc.

I love to travel, too! I went to England, the Netherlands, Scotland, and Ireland in April 2007! I love things that are British and Old English! :D I'd been to the Netherlands once before as well, in 1998!

I like to exercise, too, when I can, though I'm ill with C.F.I.D.S. (Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome or "M.E.," so it's very difficult to do as much as I'd like! Check out this support group I made about it on this Christian site I joined called CFIDS(ME)/Fibromyalgia Support Group . I try my best to keep in shape though! I love to run as much as I can. I like to swim when I can get to my fitness center to use their pool, too.

Also, I love to listen to music of course. I play music, too... keyboards, piano, synth, and guitar. (I used to play trumpet, too.) Oh, and I like to sing, too! :-)

I also love to listen to talk radio, such as the Glenn Beck program and Shaun Hannity, Christian programming as well such as Charles Stanley!

Oh, and I like sports, too, and enjoy some of the Philadelphia teams, since they play close to where I live. I also like other teams, too, such as teams in Ohio.

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to meet any of you! Give me an email or IM!

Movies:

I love most of the Jane Austen film adaptations (with a few minor exceptions) and the old fashioned English ways of the Regency period.
I much prefer the 1995 BBC - Colin Firth/Jennifer Ehle version of Pride & Prejudice.
I also like the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, too. lol

And of COURSE, my FAVORITE, The Chronicles of Narnia.
I liked the Lord of the Rings ones as well.

A recent movie I liked a lot was Eragon
.I've recently watched and totally LOVED all of the episodes of the Road to Avonlea series! I've watched all of the 6 seasons that are out right now on DVD!
Road to Avonlea - Season 1
Road to Avonlea - Season 2
Road to Avonlea - Season 3
Road to Avonlea - Season 4
Road to Avonlea - Season 6
Before watching this series, I enjoyed the 1989 Anne of Green Gables, and then the 1975 Anne of Avonlea series.
Anne of Avonlea

Television:

I don't like much of what's on TV today.

I watch Glenn Beck on CNN Headline News. It's on at 7pm, 9pm and midnight Eastern time. (I mainly watch at 7.)

I watch the Fox News Channel a lot, especially Fox and Friends in the mornings. I also watch a lot of the educational channels such as The Travel Channel, National Geographic Channel, History International, Science Channel, Times, Biography Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel, and BBC & PBS.
I LOOOVE The Travel Channel, especially "Travels in Europe," and "Globetrekker."
I also like Court TV and TV Land sometimes.

My favorite show right now is American Idol. It's the only "reality" show I really watch though.

I like to watch sports once in a while, such as football -- if there's an interesting or important game on. Or maybe I'll watch if one of the Philadelphia teams are doing well, such as the Eagles.

Books:

C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia, the Bible of course, and others.

Heroes:

Jesus is my super hero!
