About Me

I like Spam. Spam in the morning and Spam at night. Spam for a snack. Spam's a delight. If you've got some Spam, you've got something neat. Spam's part water, Spam's part fat. Spam's got just enough meat.
Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam. Spaaaaaam, Spammity Spam!!!!
Now that's just silly.
And now for something completely different . . .
I don't usually go for these things very often, but this Myers-Briggs knock off seemed to sum me up pretty well ;-)
My score on The LONG Scientific Personality Test :
ISFJ-The Protector
(You scored 36% I to E, 68% N to S, 23% F to T, and 31% J to P!)
The protector type is called such because you feel your life is best used to protect those you love from the pitfalls of life, to see to their safety and security. You belong to the larger group called guardians. You find great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden. You are not talkative with strangers, but you can chat tirelessly with those you trust. You have a good solid work ethic. You are thorough and very likely frugal. You do not like to be in a place of authority. You share your type with 10% of the population.
As a romantic partner, you are generous and gentle. Occasionally you may be taken for granted because of this fact. You are tireless in providing acts of service for your loved ones. You run the risk of always being exhausted because you won't say no to your partner. You are sensitive to criticism and will withdraw rather than fight back. You wish to be appreciated for your loyalty and whole hearted nuturing. Your values must be respected and you thrive on consideration and kindness. Your group summary: Guardians (SJ) Your Type Summary: ISFJ

My Interests

I guess I have a lot of interests. I love to watch professional sports: Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, 49ners, Spurs, DC United, Manchester United. College sports are a blast too: Syracuse Orange, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, VMI Keydets.

I enjoy the arts as well. I go to the Metropolitan Opera at least once during the opera season. Theater is a special treat. Living in NYC provides great opportunities for that.

I love performing on stage and have taken an improv class at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and hope to take more classes with them. I am currently studying acting with the Matthew Corozine Studio Theater.

I love photography. For me, making beuatiful photographs is a wonderful form of artistic expression. Here's a slide show of some of my work (except for the dashing guy on the ship, I didn't take that one ;-):

I'd like to meet:

The guy who invented Spam.

I would love to meet new and interesting people. Leave me a message and I'll get back to you. It's good to make new friends!

Music:

I mostly listen to rock. I especially love classic and hard rock. Fav bands include the Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Black Sabbath, Queen and the Police. Oh yeah, the Beatles, too ;-) Nickelback, Metallica, GnR, Motley Crue, AC/DC are on my iPod as well.

Picked up the Panic Channel's debut album the other day and love it. Navarro and Perkins are awesome.

I really just love good music. This can take many forms in many genres. One of my favorite artists is a guy named Ben Krieger and his music can't easily be categorized - but it's good music. Check him out: Ben Krieger

Classical and Celtic music are favorites too.

Movies:

Favorite movie of all time? Hard to say. I'm a big fan of the Back to the Future series. I love science fiction of all kinds. Even cheesy B movies from the fifties.

I think The Shawshank Redemption is one of the best ever made. I saw The Defiant Ones the other day and loved it. Sidney Poitier is on of my favorite actors. Oooo, Dances with Wolves is near the top of the list, too.

Check this video out. A friend of mine and his filmmaker buddies put this together for a competition on YouTube. The more hits they get, the better the chance they'll win:

Foot Fiend

Television:

24, Simpsons, CSI: New York, Criminal Minds, Law and Order, Big Brother, Rockstar: Supernova (loved Rockstar:INXS last year), Stargate SG-1, Farscape, all the Star Treks and SportsCenter (every repeated hour of it ;-)

Books:

Lord of the Rings is my favorite. Tolkien was a genius! Getting hooked on Stephen King (Sam you're evil!!!!)
