Outside of music, I am interested in BBQ'ing, cliff jumping, smart well dressed Women, and the National Football League.
For 2 years I had no car, only my trusty fixed gear bike. Still have it and I still like to spend a whole day on it.
Sometimes I like 70's soft rock, music of the 80's, and Rap. But I will always love Jazz. Specifically from about 1940 to 1962, the bebop and improvisation years. Some of my favorites are Mingus, Miles, Coltrane, Charlie Parker, and Max Roach.
What's on my iPod right now?

Leon "Eddie" Donaho, war hero, former prisoner of war, recipient of 2 purple hearts. You can read about him and the rest of WWII's Lost Batallion in the book "FOO" by Frank "FOO" Fujita. Foo was personally responsible for sneaking food to my grandfather and keeping him alive long enough to eventually be rescued and return to the United States, marry my grandmother and raise my mother. He was tortured by the Japanese and lost all his toes. We must never forget why torturing humans is just not an acceptable thing to do no matter what.
