Irie Vibrations is a weekly two hour radio show, dedicated to showcasing some of the best in roots, reggae and dub. Hosted by long time reggae collector and fan, Dale M Wimberly every Friday night. Scanning the history of Jamaican music from early days of ska , recorded at such studios as Studio One and Treasure Isle to the heavyweight sounds of the Revolutionaries at Channel One. ............................................................ ............................................................ .......... Orginally started in 1999, by Eric Bucky Morris, Irie Vibrations has always been a great source for crucial reggae rhythms each and every Friday night. Handed over to friend Dale M Wimberly in the summer of 2003, he has kept the vibes and spirit alive, offering a wide range of Jamaican culture. Dale is a big fan of older reggae (early 70's to mid 80's), but still mixes in newer conscious acts such as Midnite, Army and Dizarie. Since Dale has been hosting the show in 2003 , it has received acknowledgements and praises worldwide.
