GRIZZLY BIOGRAPHY------ The rap game has been missing something, more like someone. His name is Grizzly. Grizzly may be a new emcee to the nation but he’s a veteran to the streets. Born in the Projects in South Philly Grizzly learned how to take care of himself at an early age. He would later move to the burbs of Philly in a borough called Yeadon (Y-Town) but the streets kept calling him. In the era of hot beats and punch lines Grizzly is all about writing songs and hooks. Grizzly has the raw edge and aggressiveness of rappers from the South and West Coast like Scarface, Ice Cube, and Pac with the lyrical agility of the East Coast. Some of his major influences are Kool G Rap, Biggie, Jay Z, Big L, Nas, and the Lox. The sound of the Philadelphia rap scene is Street Soul or Street Hop. Street Soul comes from the Philadelphia blue-collar attitude along with the soul music Philly is none for. Grizzly is a man from the streets who is refining himself and his craft. I was born in Philadelphia and raised in Yeadon P.A a.k.a Y-Town. I've been rapping for about 10 years and counting I'm also an actor starring in a few movies, the first one called THE ONLY WAY OUT I have a lead roll and my name is Calvin in the movie who portrays a street hustler. The second movie is called MURDER WITH A DEADLY WEAPON I have a lead roll in that, my name is Blast who portrays a hustler who gets caught up with a gun and eventually has to skip town.
