Get Your Own Voice Player ManageI have been singing since the age of 8 and writing music since I was 13 years old. My first singing debut was at the London Palladium for the Romanian Appeal. Due to the popularity of the event I was invited to do a private performance for Prince Phillip and his friends.Writing songs is my passion. A career aspiration is to become a singer/songwriter. I play both the guitar and piano. Let Go was the first song I wrote at the age of 13. This song was actually written as part of my Music GCSE coursework. As part of my music coursework I was expected to perform this piece in front of an audience. This performance generated such popularity that people and my music teacher encouraged me to keep on writing songs.
I have been singing in the church from a very young age. From the age of 8 onwards I regularly sang with Bible ways National choir. It was through these years of singing in a choir I enhance my talent of harmonizing and singing confidently in front of an audience. It was when I was 8 years old I beat hundreds of young contenders to sing the lead at the London palladium for the Romanian Appeal. I enjoyed this experience so much that it was from that moment I knew that I wanted to become a singer/songwriter.
On myspace I have 2 tracks that have all been written by myself. In all the songs I am singing the lead, harmonizing, playing guitar and piano. I have these songs on myspace so that I can get some feed back as well as generate an interest in my material. 1) Quite Playing Games: Remix of a classic I almost treaure this song as this was the first song I played on my guitar. Its a chilled out, acoustic version of a classic and I'm sure you will appreciate it.2) Let Go: Written 1996 This is the first song I have ever written. It was initially used for my GCSE coursework. This song is about the end of a long distance relationship. Its acknowledging the love you had with that person but knowing it is time for the relationship to come to an end.
3) Fear: Written 1998 This song is an uplifting tune. It was written around the time when I was experiencing a tremendous amount of bullying at school as well as studying for my GCSE exams. It was written to encourage the person to persevere, to be strong despite the hardship they were going through.
