The Kymera Effect

HOT AS NUTS

About Me

Bobby Mullins, Brandon Armstrong, and Mike Vello started The Kymera Effect in April 2003. In late 2004, they added Greg DiBella to play Tenor Sax and Rhythem Guitar, and then Dan Halpern joined as a vocalist in late 2005. The band was complete. TKE combines reggae, ska, rock, and progressive elements to come up with a sound that is unique. If you combined the sounds of Sublime, 311, Incubus, Rx Bandits, Bob Marley, and dub reggae, you would get something close to their sound. In May 2004, they released a three song EP, The Lost Cause EP, and are currently working on their debut full length, which should be released sometime soon.
