You listen to a song on the radio or cd. You bop your head to the beat. Then you start to vibe to it. Suddenly, you feel the vibration of the bass inside your body and you start to move. Finally, you find yourself moving to the beat, bopping your head, shaking your ass and moving your feet. You start to feel it and let it control you. The ultra magnetic sounds of the music has you hypnotised and you can't break away from it. Then, as the music dies down, you began to take control of your body. You relized you were in a state of bliss and relaxation from the world around you. When you wait to figure out who's song that is, it only gives you who sings it. Why not who MADE the song?
That's where I come in. I've been listening to music ever since I was too young to talk. I've remember a song where the beat had me jumping around the house, until my Mom grabbed me and spanked me. But everytime I heard a song that had a grat beat to it, I wanted to move to it.
When I finally heard of Hip Hop, I loved it. But there was something that caught my ears. The scratches of the turntables. I didn't like it and I felt that it was messing up the song. I thought that who ever made up scratching on turntables was a menace.
As I grew, so did my love for music. I've evolved from Hip Hop to Rock, Jazz to Dance, Abstract to Trance. The only thing I've ever needed in the world was music. Then, I started to see a trend. Beats from around the world were beginning to become popular. I've relized this with Gorillaz. Their rock/hip hop/dance fusion of beats and music had me thinking..."How do they do that and become popular?"
By the time their second cd, Demon Days, come out, I've relized that they used mixers to fuse the songs together. By this time, I was into Underground Hip Hop. I would go to www.ughh.com to listen to songs from the site. The beats were something from anything I've ever heard. I couldn't believe that these rappers were not discovered around the world. Then, I've found the Instrumental section. I've felt that I was in heaven. I heard Longshot's "Powerful Gun Remix" and Kev Brown's "Say Somethin'". Then, I've found MF DOOM's section. His music had me thinking..."I should began making music. I should make beats like these and send them around the world for all to hear."
Then, I've heard some songs that had what I hated in it. The scratching from the turntables. This time, I wasn't tired from it. I was hyped from it. The scratches were like a sword being cut through my enemies. Each "Scweaaaack" I heard, I've felt like I had a powerful weapon in my hands. Now I wanted to become a DJ. I wanted that power in my hands for life.
Doing this was gonna be hard. I wanted to make music by that time. I've met one person with the same dream, Scott aka "DJ Stylin'" in the UK. I've haven't talked to him in peron, but I know this guy was gonna be big in the UK, so I wanted to be big in the US.
I now know what I must do. I've gonna have to work hard on getting the equipment I need to make music. The music I'll be making will blow everryone's mind. If you like Hip Hop, Trance, and Jazz, then get with me, cuz that's the beats I'm gonna be making. Follow me as I get my stuff and go out to get my equipment to start scratchin', spinnin', mixin' and producin' my own way of music. If you like anime, then you're welcome to. These songs will have an anime style twist to them.
