NATION OF THE UNDERGROUND...A NEW BEGINNING (conference)

Beginning in October 2002 people from all over the world have been coming to a little, hidden town in North Central Texas to attend an annual conference known as Nation of the Underground. Since its dawn, the vision has stayed the same: To raise up equipped subculture ministries, filled with the Word of God and the Spirit of God, in order to effectively reach and disciple the outcasts of this generation. This gathering is not for the faint of heart or the spiritually lazy. This is where spiritual fires begin and grow higher. It is where a window of heaven has been opened and hundreds of leaders and soon-to-be leaders have been refilled, refreshed, and released. It is a beautiful picture of God's grace and mercy upon the rejected and disrespected. But it is also the manifestation of the very Heart of the Father and the burning flame of the Holy Spirit in action. It is the name of Jesus once again being translated into every tribe, tongue, and nation...even the Outcast Nation (Micah 4:6,7). This is not merely a conference. This is an expression of a seemingly lost and forgotten people group that, despite every word of discouragement along the way, desire to not only die for the Gospel, but to actually live out the Gospel in their everyday lives. This is not rebellion. This is revolution. This...this is Nation of the Underground.
