About Me
2N Productions are Niclas Kings and Niklas Bergwall, 25 and 26 years old. Two guys who started out their music career using
only free software.
They started back in 1996, doing dance and club music, which they shared
for free on different online communities. Their music got a great response
and suddenly became well known to a certain public. By 1998, 2N
productions' sound had evolved and in the middle of that year, they got a
publishing deal with Sony/ATV. They started to develop their own sound and
skills within songwriting and had co-writes with different writers.
In 1999 Niclas and Niklas decided they wanted to explore themselves as
artists. They uploaded songs onto mp3.com, and after a few months they
held the no.1 spot in the Billboard Internet Sales Top 40, with 800.000
downloads. These songs were all made under the alias "DoubleN". This
success automatically led to a record deal with Virgin Records, where they
as DoubleN released 3 singles, toured with Maria Rubia (Fragma) and got
Grammy nominated twice for best remix team. In 2001, DoubleN released many
remixes and achieved several no.1s in dancecharts for acts in Italy,
Hungary, Denmark and Sweden. Over 30 remixes have been done up to this
date. In 2002-2003 2N Productions signed a publishing deal with Cosmos
Songs, and started focusing on writing "pop-songs" with twisted and
interesting productions. They've so far achieved several no.1s in
important airplay-charts, single/album charts and dancecharts all over
Europe and Asia. In 2004 2N wrote the song "Only If I" for Kate Ryan, which rapidly became a hit in Europe. When released in the US, the song entered the Billboard dance chart at no.13, and entered the hot 100 single sales.
2006 year's big success was writing and producing "Je t'adore" for Kate Ryan, which won the eurovision song-contest in Belgium. It became the biggest song of 2006 in Belgium, and held the no.1 spot for 7 weeks. The single was also a big hit in many other European and South-american countries.
2N Productions also recently wrote the theme song for a worldwide TV-show.
The album containing the song has up to this day sold 4.300.000 copies(!) and have spent more than 1 year on the Billboard Latin Chart. The album, "Rebelde" with the grammy nominated group RBD has also been no.1 in Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
In US alone the album has gone double Platinum, and the tour CD has gone gold. Also in Canada the album went platinum. 2N have just recently written and produced 8 songs on the Kate Ryan album "Alive" - where the next 2 upcoming Europe-singles are theirs. The guys most recent success in 2006 is having written and produced a top-20 single in Australia.Most recently 2N produced the song "Save My Pride" for BWO. The single is currently ..6 in Finland, and ..11 on the airplay chart in Sweden. A new project called "Honey" has also been signed for a worldwide deal. They are now busy finishing the last touches of Kate Ryan's new single, due for release in a couple of weeks. Also confirmed is that 2N together with Alexander Bard has written the official Worldcup song for Woman in Soccer, the act BWO is doing the song. 2N has 3 songs on the upcoming BWO album.
