Mr. Paul Foenander- Drums The song you can hopefuly hear is Paul playing the drums!!!Paul started playing those drums in the year of 1988, under the watchful eye of drum maestro Darryn Farrugia.(hey hey it's Saturday) After the free lessons at Keon Park Secondary College had provided, run out,he was asked to join his 1st band called "Exo Endo"(Michel Ozannan,Dave Johnson) Other school bands to follow were "Parasite"(Rob Murtore,Chris Gatz,Dave Johnson,Stewie) and then Metal Masters "SEVERANCE"(Matt Johnson,Dave Johnson,Michel Ozannan)Sneaking in to play his first pub gig, at the, still wet behind the ears, age of sixteen and a half, He thought this is the life for me. SEVERANCE is where Paul met his best mate/man Maxwell Van Panelvan (Matt Johnson) Thundering down the Rock n’ Roll highway, provided him with a couple of cock rock bands "Forbidden Waters"(Cory Betts,Mark Potter,Stevo,Zen Pincombe) and "Midnite".(Mark Potter,Cory Betts,Dave Bellion) He was forced to grow the hair. The “cock rock” ran out pretty quickly it was then time to try a different path. He hooked up as a part time roadie to pay the bills. It was then that his playing reached a new level. that’s where he met a monster drummer Craig Whitelock. He was from the awesome band ‘Bigger than Jesus’, he showed Paul a couple of things, he was a major influence!!!As the storey goes , Virgin Solders(Gibbo,Chris Farley,Geoff Marquis,Barry Donohue,Ron Marsden) was his next big band. This is where he met members of Goldyrox, Ron Marsden (Rammers) and Chris Farley (The Sheik). Virgin Soldiers becomes Sump;(Gibbo,Ron Marsden.Chris Farley,Barry Donohue,Geoff Davies,Simon Croft,Chris Morley) this is where he meets Geoff Davies (The Baron on Bass). Desert is the next band that Paul puts together. This band should have taken over the world; this is where Maxwell rejoins Paul and finds ex "EXO ENDO" guitarist Michel Ozanna and Ben Bourke. These two maestros are forced to change there name for the safety of society and to protect the innocent. Maxwell becomes ‘Thunda Lips’ and Ivan becomes ‘Judge Jonny’. unfortunately you can’t mix booze, drugs, guitarists, singers and one ex girlfriend”That was the end of DESERT. STENKFENGER(Gibbo,Ron Marsden,Chris Farley,Matt Johnson) was born. Rammers, Paul(now Ivan G), Maxwell and the Sheik are together as one. Paul and Maxwell get to change there name back, as it worked out that the innocent weren’t so innocent. Advice from the women’s group said it was time spread the love, it was a baby boom! STENKFENGER was then forced into permanent paternity leave. Then there was "MAX POWER"(Gibbo,Chris Farley,Geoff Marquis,Craig Foster) A dirty rock n' roll covers band that did a few shows. Another line up change and "MAX POWER" changed there name to "BENDER".Gibbo,Chris Farley,Ron Marsden,Dana Beckett,Geoff Davies) BENDER was short lived and the guys were forced to remove there lead singer(Steve "GIBBO" Williamson) and found a young lass by the name of Alex "Feisty" Toleman and GOLDYROX was born. Paul was getting a bit bored with the cover scene and wanted to test the orginal scene again. A local rockstar from Austrailan Idol, Mr Lindsay West invited Paul for a jam at a local Locksmith shop. The sound and the songs sound huge....Watch this space for the next chapter with Mr. West
