Winters Dawn was founded back in 1998 by Thanos(bass,production) and John Ch.(Rythm and solo Guitars).Various member changes took place through the years, until 2002, when they teamed up with Stelios,a genuine metal singer.The first CD "Nitro", was recorded in 2003 and got raving reviews from all around the world.
Since then, the band had to work its way through various non-wintersdawn related problems and epecially Stelios'relocating to Germany. However, with most of the to-be-released material composed, the band new they had, once again, a set of very special songs. In September 2006, Stelios flew over to Greece and recorded the lead vocals for the new full length album. Currently, John is working on the rythm guitars,Thanos is recording the backing vocals and all other instruments will have been recorded by Xmas. Stelios will add his final touches somewhere in march-may. The album is expected to be mixed and mastered by late summer 2007.
