Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi, Ted Raimi, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Tony Jaa, Stephen Chow, Michelle Yeoh, Zhang Ziyi, Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, the Brothers Chap, John Linnell, John Flansburgh, the Frantics and a whole host of others that I just can't remember at the moment.
However, seeing as this is the TILAH Myspace page, and not the "Derek's fanboy wishlist" Myspace page, this should list the people who we at Take It Like A Husband would like to meet. So here goes:
Husbands, wives, children (but only with their parent's permission, of course), artists (webcomic or otherwise) , writers (authors, screen writers, classified ads...it doesn't matter), and practically anyone who won't try to make us dance naked under a harvest moon (Dan might be into that, actually). We all have stories to tell, be it about marriage or not. We men are husbands not only to our wives but also to our work and play. Of course, I made my work and play sign a prenup first...
All over the map! I could sit and watch the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy or enjoy any of Kevin Smith’s movies (well, maybe not Jersey Girl). I love gore-fests like Slither and Starship Troopers but am also attracted to smart movies like The Usual Suspects or biographies like Walk the Line. Horror, comedy, drama, family, sci fi and even the occasional musical. Anything directed by Sam Raimi is required watching (directed, not produced), and most super hero movies are a must! Written by Joss Whedon or Charlie Kaufman? I’m there! Directed by Robert Rodriguez or Quentin Tarantino? Try to stop me! I could go on and on and on…
Lost and Heroes - The only reasons to watch TV! I'm not saying that there isn't any other programming worth watching, but if Desperate Housewives, Jericho, House and whatever else is on now-a-days was cancelled, I'd be content with Lost and Heroes.
