The Battle works like this :
40 bands compete over a 10 week (1 show per week, 4 bands per show) "preliminary round" period. Each night 2 bands are selected to move on to the Semi-Finals round. Durring the preliminary round, one winner will be selected by audience ballot, and one winner will win the at-large bid, selected by The Bullfrog panel of judges.
The Semi-Final round will consist of 5 weeks, and again feature 4 bands a night. One winner per night will be selected to move on to the finals. Winners will be judged by a panel of Musicians, booking agents, and fans.
The Finals will be held in a One Night, Winner Takes ALL music Extravaganza. Again the winner will be selected by a panel of judges, and will walk out the door that night with the $1000 cash.
