Music will always come first - I try to get to as many gigs as humanly possible! Fashion a close second, although not religiously - I just like buying clothes! Love to have fun with people - laughter is essential! As is a drink or ten!! Oh, I love my movies 2!
Sarah-Jessica Parker would have to be top of my list - I have recently discovered that the Sex & The City movie is back on track........THE GLEE IS SUBSTANTIAL AS YOU CAN IMAGINE!!! - I'd discuss the plot without a doubt!! In terms of artists, then Rufus Wainwright would be a great dinner date. Prince would be a fantastic dance partner. Bjork would be the BEST person to root through my record collection with, and just chill! And Martin Scorsese would be a fascinating person to grab a holiday with - i'd need at least 3 weeks to hear all of this guys stories regarding the people he has met in his life, and how they have influenced his movies! Would also LOVE to meet David LaChapelle.....dress up as camp as tits, and let him photograph me with some obscure backdrop and props!
Prince - musical genius.....PERIOD. Bjork - gorgeousness in every sense. Daft Punk - rediscovered at Wireless '07.....AMAZING LIVE! The Killers - delicious icing on top of a huge cake at V 2007! Robyn - the best new artist of recent years....flawless album. Juliette & the Licks - hotter than a mother****er! Rufus Wainwright - so moving, he gives me chills. Justin Timberlake - hot, talented, dancemaster generale....PERFECTO! Timbaland - production genius....everything he touches turns to gold! Madonna - not bad for a girl :P!! Eclectic is the best pick.....!
Classics: Scarface; Godfather Trilogy; Goodfella's; Taxi Driver; Casino; Goonies; Stand By Me; Willy Wonka; Ferris Bueller's Day Off; King Of Comedy. Recent classics: Kill Bill 1&2; Grave of the Fireflies; Belleville Rendezvouz; Mysterious Skin; 28 Days/Weeks Later; The Descent; Ichi The Killer; Latter Days; Dancer In The Dark; Transamerica; Fargo; Breakfast On Pluto; The Beach; The Aviator; Gangs Of New York; Casino Royale; The Departed; Happy Feet; Little Miss Sunshine; Pan's Labyrinth; The Bourne Trilogy. ANYTHING BY MARTIN SCORSESE IS VERY MUCH GRABBING MY INTEREST AT THE MOMENT - THE MAN IS A GENIUS.
....is dead since Sex & the City sadly departed in 2004. There's a few shows that I watch religiously - Catherine Tate; Hollyoaks: In the City (shameful I know, but Philip Olivier is DDG!); America's Next Top Model; Shameless; Never Mind The Buzzcocks; Kath & Kim; Desperate Housewives; Nip/Tuck.
WAY back into art/photography books. Bought myself the 'Banksy' book a couple of months back - S T U N N I N G!! The guy is a one off - true artiste. David LaChapelle makes me wish I actually had talent - the atmosphere that this guy conjures up in a single photograph is truly sensational - I highly recommend his current book 'Heaven to Hell'. 'Hannibal Rising' was a treat - the film however was very poor indeed! - Looking forward to getting Rankin's new photography collection! Hot!
