Pure Underground is a polish Music/Art-Collective and Record Label started in 90` by Grater brothers.
Pure Underground Label was started in July 2004. For the very beginning it was running by Y-Greg and Tomi - it was just "another project" from Pure Underground Collective which grow up to be a registered company here in Poland.
As there was nothing similiar to our creations in music/sound and design in our country we decided that we should push our music on the level where the understanding of it is better, where music environment on such genres had evolved many years ago giving the chance for such producers like us to introduce our creations to other people.
Today we`re making our tracks, vinyl and digital releases of such genres as down tempo, minimal, trip-hop, breakbeat, drum`n`bass, jungle, experimental techno, idm, house, tech-house, techno, acid techno, hardnrg, pounding techno, ending on such a genres as hard techno, hardtekk, or hardcore...
No more compartmentalization of genres, and having them on a leash...
We would like to realize more of our fascination in multiple music genres and styles, we want to produce and promote innovative electronic music for the people.
