“Hostile Minds†project was formed in 2004 by three DJs from Canada with similar visions but different musical backgrounds. Being originally from Moscow, Russia, their mission was to combine their knowledge and talent, to elevate Russian Drum’n’Bass music and culture to an international level. By taking their influences from demonic geniuses such as Liam Howlett, Goldie, John B, the “Hostile Minds†project has forged into a new narrative style of musical creation with a conceptual basis in emotional conflict that touches a crowd in ways others wouldn’t conceive.
Max F. (Alien)
A now established DJ and Producer in the international Drum’n’Bass scene, Max Ferberov (also known as “Alienâ€) has contributed to the “Hostile Minds†project coordination, musical composition, and final production by utilizing his extensive international performance experience as well as classical musical training. Max’s previous composition and production of diverse musical genres adds a final touch which moulds the unique sound of “Hostile Mindsâ€.
Kirill C. (Infinity)
Kirill is the project’s Composer, Engineer and Pre-Production coordinator. A graduate of Canada’s most prestigious film and audio academy in Canada (International Academy of Design Technology/Toronto Film School), Kirill contributes to the structural as well as musical development of the project, and ensures that the final product complies with today’s professional recording standards.
Andrei B (Wone)
Andrei’s main tasks are drum and main idea composing, being in charge of initial product development and initial flow coordination of the project. Also being a House music producer and dj, he has done many remixes that are being played by dj’s across North America. Andrei is a resident dj in almost all Russian crowd oriented club events in Toronto.
Thanks to the unique and fresh sound and concept of “Hostile Mindsâ€, the group has now stepped up in the Drum’n’Bass ranks, and is gaining a reputation not only across Canada and North America, but also across the global scene.
