I've been a proud whole-blood donor since February 1991, and am now a very proud platelet donor. This is because my mother died of cancer, and because I'm also supporting my ex-husband and now-best-friend who is battling cancer as well. I so admire his courage and positive outlook, as well as my mother's bravery during her illness and final days.
I really enjoy taking nature photography with the convenience of my camera phone, whether it be at my current home, or whenever I'm out and about on this beautiful island of ours. You may view my current photos on my slideshow, and feel free to comment if you like. I also love to laugh, and make people laugh as well. Laughter is really the best medicine and sanity-saver, especially when you're going through life's many challenges.
