Average---about 22%, I hate it.
GOD...(on good terms)...Peter Gabriel for a couple of hours, get inside his head, which could be kinda scary. The really attractive single asian woman who personally delivers my first SUPER LOTTO check and tells me it took her for hours to find my place and she is starving and would love to have me escort her out to dinner....(is that reaching?)....not neccaserally in that order.
I vaguely mentioned this above. How's this, Here's what's on my little DELL music toy right now...Not in order of favorites....Al Stewart, Alanis Morissette, Alkaemy, Ambrosia...(first album only, every thing after that sucked)...Amethystium, Anita Baker, Doors, Aerosmith, Roxy Music, Balligomingo, Beck...( but only that kinda slow spacy album he did a couple of years ago.)...BOC...(If your old school, you'll know)...Boston, Bruse Springsteen, CSN&Y, David Arkenstone, David Bowie, Delerium...(the "POEM" album, one of the greatest records ever made)...ELP, Emiliana Torrini, Enigma, Fleetwood Mac, GENESIS...(only old stuff, no horn sections)...Heart, Jethro Tull, Kate Bush...(he typed as his heart skips a beat)...Lili Haydn, Linda Ronstadt...(only the old standerds stuff with the Nelson Riddle Orch.)...Madonna...(a few songs)...Manhattan Transfer....(only "BRAZIL")...Men at work, Neil Diamond...( Oh shades of my karaoke glory days, I'll have a double please)...Nick Drake, Pat Matheny/Lyle Mays, Paul Schwartz, Paula Abdul...(only two songs that tug at my heartstrings for reasons that are far to lengthy to go into now)...Pete Townsend, PINK FLOYD, PETER GABRIEL, Rush, Sade, Sarah Brightman, Simon & Garfunkel, Steely Dan, Stevie Nicks, Beatles, Eagles, Grateful Dead, Motels, Police, Stones, U-2, YES, WHO...This add's up to almost 1000 songs, and my back is killing me from typing while sitting in my really fancy ergonomically correct chair. I'll finish this up later. This is a pic of James McHootman E,Cass S, & Mark Jhooter S & Myself on the far left on our way to see Rodger Waters at the Hollywood Bowl, also the first time we had gathered together since like High School......so like maybe 4 or 5 years.
For years and years my favs have always been NO:1 CASABLANCA...(the black and white version, Ted Turner can go colorize himself)... NO:2 the original move of M*A*S*H, too many other great movies to pick a third. But then I had a problem, something happened, that my friends and I would talk and only dream about. A live action BIG screen "LORD OF THE RINGS"...(yes, I'm a geek, and an old one at that)...I certainly didn't want to replace Casablanca, Boggie would turn over in his grave, and please don't make me choose between Ingrid Bergman & Liv Taylor, I think my heart would explode.........So I just decided that "LOTR"...( that is the cool/hip way of saying it right, not LORD OF THE RINGS?)...just belongs in a whole seperate catagory all by itself, huh! problem solved, I still LOVE you Ingrid.
off
The BIBLE-kinda dry at times, but I don't read it for the action and adventure, even though, if you really think about and imagine what you are reading about and realize that it's a history book, forget about religion, it can be very exciting at times. Anything and everything that is LORD OF THE RINGS/SILMARILLION.
I've only ever called three people "my heros" and all three are fictitious.1: Hawkeye Pierce-from the TV series M*A*S*H-because even though he was an alcoholic, he never let it keep him from the things he felt were important in life, which for him was saving lives. 2:Sam Mallone-bartender/owner of "CHEERS"-because as a recovering alcoholic who showed that no matter how low-down you get, you can always come back, and take control of your life. And in his case to be able to be around and work with booze, and still have no desire to start up again. I myself am in a similer position. 3: Pinky-from Pinky & the Brain-because he's just got a great attitude NARF!!!!!!!! When adversity would strike, he would stand up and laugh and say "AGAIN zort" poit.
