In Loving Memory of Lexi 9/14/06

My name is Lexi and my mommy adopted me in 2005 and she gave me a wonderful home and lots of love. My mommy had lots of nicknames for me including: Lexi-Boo, Hamster-Girl, Baby-Girl and many more...
My mommy likes to spoil me with lots of fun things for my tank like my awesome hampster wheel, my hamster house, or my shiny silver tin.
My favorite foods are cheese pizza, ice cream, and chocolate pudding. Sometimes I get pudding all over my paws but I don't care because I love it! The only thing my mommy won't give me anymore is Jelly. One time she gave me some Jelly on a cracker and the Jelly got all over me. When I tried to get it all off I licked myself so much I gave myself a bald spot!!!
I enjoy crawling over and under the blankets on my mommy's bed trying to hide fromn her in all of the nooks and crannies. I love sleeping in my hamster house or hiding in my tin can when I'm eating my treats. When my hamster house gets to messy inside I like to make other nests all around my tank so I have places to sleep.
When I'm hiding in house my mommy always knows how to get me to come out by saying that she is touching my food and sometimes she really isn't touching my food but I just have to come and check...you never know...she maybe giving me a yummy cracker treat!! But most of the time she is just trying to get me out of my house to play. Sometimes I'm so tired that I make my way out of my house with my eyes half closed and I say "MOMMY, WHAT DO YOU WANT! I'M SLEEPING!!"
One time I got loose in the house and my mommy had to go on a mad hamster search to find me!! I was laughing the whole time while my mommy crawled all around the room looking for me....when all the while I was hiding under desk!!! Eventually she spotted me and my hide-and-go-seek game was over (mommy didn't think it was a game but I did!!!).
The other day I bit mommy (I was just playing) and she flung her hand in the air because it startled her and I went flying into the garbage can! She thought it was very funny but I didn't enjoy the flight into the can very much - garbage is stinky!!! - and I'm a "girlie girl" so I was like "Eeeewwwwwww get me out of here!!!"
I have a great hamster life and a wonderful mommy who really loves me...what more can you ask for??? I'm living the hamster's dream life!
