---You name it, she does it!! Amor born as Shenna Eason in Detroit Mi. September 15th 1980 has been musically talented since she was able to walk and talk. Interviewing the singers mother Carolyn Eason, Monday 8/28, she spoke of all of the defining moments that came about while she was raising Shenna. I asked her when did you first notice the talent in your daughter?

"I have to say it was the night after her 4th birthday party, me and her father bought her a keyboard, and she took to it like a fish to water. By the end of that night, she played me a song. Of course I was in amazement! When I would come home from work, she would have a drama play put together for me to watch. She would make her little brother participate. If she wasnt putting together plays, she was recording herself singing, or recording stories that she had made up. She was defiantly a child born with talent. I didnt want to push her in that direction though, because I believe in education. I wanted her to finish her schooling. Now that she has done that, I can not complain, I want all of her dreams to come true, and she has my full support."
---Amor, working mainly underground for years singing backgrounds for local rap artist, has finally decided to give her career a try. And step into the limelight. I have had the privilege of listening to some of her music, and speaking to her, and may I just say "WOW". I see her going places and getting there fast. Here are the highlights from the last time I spoke to Amor!!!

"I write all my music, do all my backgrounds, arrange the music, come up with harmonies, hooks, create my beats, ext, everything you hear on my tracks are all me. Making a song is really hard, because every verse has to say something different, but it has to link up with the rest of the song. I have been influenced by singers like Amarie, Brandy, Monica, Toni Braxton, and the Late Great Aaliyah. Sometimes when Im in the studio, my producer JD of Peeped Out Productions knocks on the glass and tells me to Do your Aaliyah thing, or do your Amarie thing. When I was younger, Aaliyah and me attended the middle school Gesu. Together, I remember when she went to star search. The principle at that time was Sister. Stella. She announced over the P.A system that Aaliyah was going to Star Search and she wants everyone to pray for her. She didnt win, but she came back and continued to do school plays. She came from an entertaining family so I guess thats why they pushed her to entertain. My mom shielded me from this, wanting me to do school and only school. But I remember seeing Aaliyah all the time; she grew up around the corner from me. My cousin went to DSA with her. And she was so down to earth. As her career blossomed the less and less we saw her around Detroit. I did have a plan, if my career was to take off and I was to get BIG, I would have found a way to contact her and tell her, do you remember back when, I will never get that chance now. Its sad that we lost such a strong ROCK in this industry; she was a trendsetter, and a beautiful person. All I can do now is what she told everyone to do, witch is to follow your dreams. I still belong to Gesu Church, Sometimes I wish I could work on music 24/7 but its not yet paying the bills. So I have to balance working on my craft with working a 9 to 5 job. Most people do not see how I do it all, but when you have a passion for something, you will do anything and everything to obtain it, to grasp it, to achieve it."
---I have also found that she is very into classical music; she has played the piano by ear since the age of four. She set me down and played the sounds of Beethovens moonlight sonata, and it brought tears to my eyes. Along with music, she is also in the process of releasing a collection of her poetry, and paintings.
