About Me

Welcome to my space and thanks for reading here... I feel that I was born GAY, eternal praises and thanks be to God for such a wonderful blessing in my life. Amen... As far back as i can remember, I have liked the company of males better than females... O, Mom and the aunts were good family, but you know what I mean by liking the company of men better in other ways, even when repairmen came to do work, it felt good to have a man around the house... LOL... Some folks dont think God creates gays, but I say if so, why does he seem to be making so many of us these days? This basic feeling got buried under the 1950's idea that we couldn't like men, then I grew up on a small farm in a rural area and was converted to the LDS church at age 13 and never had any way to know what my feelings were about until thirty years later... after I moved for a job to Albany, NY, where I met some gay coworkers and lived in a city where we are given some of our equal rights... after I learned about myself and come to grasp the truth, I realized I was born gay and eventually gave up the LDS lifestyle for my own individual lifestyle... Now, I work, eat, sleep and go out for fun in my community... I am happy and gay every day. I hope YOU are too... :)

Lions and Tigers and Bears! O My! The Lion is a Tiger in Chinese Zodiac.
I am male and gay, 57, 5'9", 200+, single and happy... farm boy who went to college and then moved to the city and found a new life by the time he was 40... back then we didnt know what gay meant in the countryside of Upstate NY... in the 1970's and 1980's, the Mormons didnt know what being gay was about, and never even talked about it in any positive way... today they mostly still dont know what it is about, so after coming out I had to leave that LDS lifestyle behind after 30 years of activity in the church... luckily I never wanted to marry, so coming out was easier... after a few years i learned i had to go out to make friends at the community center, MCC and clubs... there my dance life came alive and developed into my exercise that I do a few times a week after working... it is fun and awesome and the people make it more fun than sitting home... I drink water and enjoy the smoke free air in the local clubs, along with hugs and kisses from friends... life is much better nowdays... I have a healthy life, with no HIV and hope never to get that after seeing so many die from it and suffer from it when you get older, you need all the healthy life you can get if you want to have a future... dont worry, be happy and dont do risky things... live with mind and spirit turned on and you dont need anything like drugs... love, joy, peace and beauty are the better drugs of life... smile... take time to smell the roses along the way in life... leave drama behind and dont judge people... judging takes too much time and energy away from loving people... the golden rule is all we need, plus a lot of caring, love and hugs for each other....................................................... .............................................. a few years ago a new man came to Albany and saw me having a good night at the WW dance club... he asked me how much K I took to be turned on to dance all night... I said none, that the music and lights and people made me happy and gave me the power to dance, that i didnt need drugs or drinks to be "turned on"... he later said he felt very small and we have laughed about that several times since then... not that it is a laughing matter, but sometimes laughter is good........................................................ ............................................................ ..DID GOD CREATE GAYS??? "O Lord, you have searched me and known me, You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away. ...For it was you who formed my inmost parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.” ~Psalm 139: 1, 13 -14, A Psalm of David. Praise Ye the LORD for all of His wonderous works. .......................................................Extra , Extra! I now have excellent biblical proof that Jesus is GAY: In Rev. 3:11 he says "I come quickly..." He must be on GAY TIME, tho he is coming quickly, nearly 2,000 years later He still has not arrived. Even the latest drag queens are not that late when they are primping for hours to do a show... Smile.

............................................................ ......................................................... COOL, WARM, OR HOT??? Am I cool or uncool? You are Cool! You're pretty cool! People look at you and think.. 'wow.. that person is cool!' Congratulations. Use your position wisely and teach the dorks below you a thing or two. There's nothing like recruiting a cool person. (actually, I dont believe in judging others... it takes too much work to do that and i would rather dance than do drama....)

WHAT IS A FAY? A SUPERNATURAL BEING WITH MAGICAL POWERS. ......................... I do hospital work, genealogy research for fun and $, I LUV 2 DANCE: music and dance are my spiritual expressions.... walking and dance give me exercise, along with being on my feet all shift at work every work day... work sucks, but not the good way till pay day... :) ............................................................ ...............................................I want to meet some gay millionaries... ............................................................ ............................................................ Speaking of genealogy interests: only 12 more years till the MAYFLOWER'S 400th ANNIVERSARY of landing at Plymouth, Mass. The oldest organized FAY family group celebrated its 350th year in America in 2006 in Marlborough, Mass. ......................................... SPECIAL RESEARCH OFFER: If you have interest in learning about your ancestral history and don't know how to do that, I will give you some pointers about how to do it... I'm not an expert about every kind of research, but am on NY and New England research... so ask the question if you wish... I wont do the actual research unless you pay for it, but I will give ideas of how to do it, to let you see it is possible in many cases... adoptions make it impossible unless all parties are willing to cooperate, so dont bother asking about that... it is illegal to look at officially sealed records and i dont want to be fined or worse, nor invade peoples privacy... generally it is a fun and inspiring process to find your own roots... a spiritual journey as unique as your own DNA... clues are found and followed to the answers... often fun and spooky. clues to research can be found in my many articles in Heritage Quest Magazine and I believe most are available online if you join their research site. For the best personal insight about your research, write me your question or quest... I do a reference and resource referral service for donations, so ask away ............................................................ ..................................................... A PRIVATE RESEARCH OFFER: When I do real research, people begin by sending my a written problem to solve and a check... I do the first searching and report back the prospects and we decide if it looks good that we can solve the problem... obviously, this is not a math problem that can be solved no matter what, as it depends on if people want us to know the answer and if records somewhere contain the info... if it was never recorded, we cant find it, period, and if it got destroyed in a fire, flood or whatever, we cant find it either, unless there was another copy somewhere... if you want/need actual research done, I will give you my mailing address to send the info and the check to me. ............................................................ .......................................................... ANOTHER RESEARCH REFERENCE OFFER... If you want guidance information from online resources but you dont know how to find them... tell me what area your research is in and I will assemble the information about local records and access to them, so you can then begin doing your own research on your family or on some other historical topic. To do this, I would need a check went to my home address, with the location of the research, then I can assemble the custom research guide for you to use and send it to you online via e-mail. Cost for this info about $20 US. ............................................................ ..................................................... ...........................................................

I'd like to meet:

cute, sweet guys who will give warm hugs... and dance up a storm... guys who love music, lights, dance... some gay millionaries... if I met a young man who was homeless and needed help, I would take him in and help until he got on his own feet, or maybe even adopt him as my son if his family didnt like him. I have helped 18+ young men in the past, without any more than helpful interest. Sometimes they could be helped, and sometimes not. Success depends on having patience to keep working at making a living and a future for yourself. Love does not enter the equation unless the younger 18+ man is interested in that. Yes, that is true.

Books:

textbooks, reference books, gay history, humor and novels... self help, like Taking Care of Number One (me if i am reading or you if u r reading)... How to make a million dollars, etc. Would you believe i had over 60 genealogy how to articles published in Heritage Quest magazine from 1985 - 1996? and that i did my own series of NY research guides, called "NY Genealogical Research Secrets," including one guide for the state level and one for each of the 62 counties, and these were read by thousands of people doing their NY family history research from 1980 - 1990? Copies in bound and microfiche forms are at the NY State Library, at the Library of Congress and in many other places... I compiled a book of NY Quaker research, an index to all Quakers in NY Yearly Meeting in 1828, with research strategies, which was published in 1989? I still do some research and plan to do more in retirement. I used to do volunteer work at the Mormon library and at the NYS State Library in Albany, helping people find resources and compile their family history. A more recent experience was doing research in the old Auburn Prison registers to find info for a client... it took a month, due to unavailable records, then it took time to search after they were returned... they were not indexed, so had to search papge by page... to narrow down the search, I searched the Auburn censuses and found out when the person was in the prison census returns, then searched a few years each side of the census info... doing that narrowed down the searching so well that i found the name after searching about a dozen pages of the register of prison inmate information. ............................................................ .............................................I was one of the local founding members of the Capital District Genealogical Society in 1981, serving over the years as treasurer, vice president and then president for several years, board member, as well as activity with the NY State Council of Genealogical Organizations for a few years. We had a reunion and celebration of 25 years of the CDGS in September 2006 that was a lot of fun. The CDGS meets in the Colonie Library, 629 Albany-Shaker Road, near the intersection of Wolf Road and Albany- Shaker Road, by the Times Union Building, just off exit four of the I87 highway on the fourth Saturday of the month at 1 pm for computer interests, 2 pm for social time, and 2:30 pm for the main meeting with business and speakers. ............................................................ ................................................
