WHAT IS A FAY? A SUPERNATURAL BEING WITH MAGICAL POWERS. ......................... I do hospital work, genealogy research for fun and $, I LUV 2 DANCE: music and dance are my spiritual expressions.... walking and dance give me exercise, along with being on my feet all shift at work every work day... work sucks, but not the good way till pay day... :) ............................................................
...............................................I want to meet some gay millionaries... ............................................................
............................................................
Speaking of genealogy interests: only 12 more years till the MAYFLOWER'S 400th ANNIVERSARY of landing at Plymouth, Mass. The oldest organized FAY family group celebrated its 350th year in America in 2006 in Marlborough, Mass.
.........................................
SPECIAL RESEARCH OFFER: If you have interest in learning about your ancestral history and don't know how to do that, I will give you some pointers about how to do it... I'm not an expert about every kind of research, but am on NY and New England research... so ask the question if you wish... I wont do the actual research unless you pay for it, but I will give ideas of how to do it, to let you see it is possible in many cases... adoptions make it impossible unless all parties are willing to cooperate, so dont bother asking about that... it is illegal to look at officially sealed records and i dont want to be fined or worse, nor invade peoples privacy... generally it is a fun and inspiring process to find your own roots... a spiritual journey as unique as your own DNA... clues are found and followed to the answers... often fun and spooky. clues to research can be found in my many articles in Heritage Quest Magazine and I believe most are available online if you join their research site. For the best personal insight about your research, write me your question or quest... I do a reference and resource referral service for donations, so ask away ............................................................
.....................................................
A PRIVATE RESEARCH OFFER:
When I do real research, people begin by sending my a written problem to solve and a check... I do the first searching and report back the prospects and we decide if it looks good that we can solve the problem... obviously, this is not a math problem that can be solved no matter what, as it depends on if people want us to know the answer and if records somewhere contain the info... if it was never recorded, we cant find it, period, and if it got destroyed in a fire, flood or whatever, we cant find it either, unless there was another copy somewhere... if you want/need actual research done, I will give you my mailing address to send the info and the check to me.
............................................................
..........................................................
ANOTHER RESEARCH REFERENCE OFFER... If you want guidance information from online resources but you dont know how to find them... tell me what area your research is in and I will assemble the information about local records and access to them, so you can then begin doing your own research on your family or on some other historical topic. To do this, I would need a check went to my home address, with the location of the research, then I can assemble the custom research guide for you to use and send it to you online via e-mail. Cost for this info about $20 US. ............................................................

cute, sweet guys who will give warm hugs... and dance up a storm... guys who love music, lights, dance... some gay millionaries... if I met a young man who was homeless and needed help, I would take him in and help until he got on his own feet, or maybe even adopt him as my son if his family didnt like him. I have helped 18+ young men in the past, without any more than helpful interest. Sometimes they could be helped, and sometimes not. Success depends on having patience to keep working at making a living and a future for yourself. Love does not enter the equation unless the younger 18+ man is interested in that. Yes, that is true.

textbooks, reference books, gay history, humor and novels... self help, like Taking Care of Number One (me if i am reading or you if u r reading)... How to make a million dollars, etc. Would you believe i had over 60 genealogy how to articles published in Heritage Quest magazine from 1985 - 1996? and that i did my own series of NY research guides, called "NY Genealogical Research Secrets," including one guide for the state level and one for each of the 62 counties, and these were read by thousands of people doing their NY family history research from 1980 - 1990? Copies in bound and microfiche forms are at the NY State Library, at the Library of Congress and in many other places... I compiled a book of NY Quaker research, an index to all Quakers in NY Yearly Meeting in 1828, with research strategies, which was published in 1989? I still do some research and plan to do more in retirement. I used to do volunteer work at the Mormon library and at the NYS State Library in Albany, helping people find resources and compile their family history. A more recent experience was doing research in the old Auburn Prison registers to find info for a client... it took a month, due to unavailable records, then it took time to search after they were returned... they were not indexed, so had to search papge by page... to narrow down the search, I searched the Auburn censuses and found out when the person was in the prison census returns, then searched a few years each side of the census info... doing that narrowed down the searching so well that i found the name after searching about a dozen pages of the register of prison inmate information. ............................................................
.............................................I was one of the local founding members of the Capital District Genealogical Society in 1981, serving over the years as treasurer, vice president and then president for several years, board member, as well as activity with the NY State Council of Genealogical Organizations for a few years. We had a reunion and celebration of 25 years of the CDGS in September 2006 that was a lot of fun. The CDGS meets in the Colonie Library, 629 Albany-Shaker Road, near the intersection of Wolf Road and Albany- Shaker Road, by the Times Union Building, just off exit four of the I87 highway on the fourth Saturday of the month at 1 pm for computer interests, 2 pm for social time, and 2:30 pm for the main meeting with business and speakers. ............................................................

.................My first ancestors came to America in 1620 on the Mayflower: Thomas Rogers signed the Mayflower Compact. His son Joseph Rogers came over with him and other family members came later in the 1600's and 1700's and some in the 1830's to Canada and others to NY in the 1850's. Several New England ancestors were in the Revolutionary War, most were farmers. Congregational was the predominate religion of the family, with a few Quakers, Baptists and Methodists.
