Nate Hood was inspired by his family and friends to be an artist at an the age of 17. When recorded first track HIT LICKS on the Strait Tweakin VOL 1 album. Nate Hood is not unfamiliar with stardom from being the shadow of his godfather R. Kelly and also a star basketball player of 2003 Illinois State Basketball Team HALES FRANCISCAN. However, his determination just be a star and make a name of his own lead him into an unexpected field over time as he soon grew an interest in music & film instead of sports and school. Nate Hood had developed a high interest for Rapping during his hard times of the years of 2003 - present, he had decided to become a gangsta rapper and artist himself. From 2003 - 2006 Nate witness the street life from hustling and grinding on his own with fellow brothers and family LA FAMILIA. Nate Hood started off just spitting for the hell of it with artist upcoming in the CHI. As his name grew throughout east side & chicago, he ventured off hard into music with fellow producers Young Hood, Pressa, and D-Nice. Nate Hood attended college to live & pursue his sports dream but just couldn't exscape the grind of the music and the street life. Eventually he continued with ups and downs of the eastside life. Now out of school, the aspiring rapper had to grind & work hard to help himself and provide for love ones. Since he has focused on his music hard from being mentored by fellow artist and producers in the fuh camp such as Pressa, D-Nice, Fharmacy & Young Hood. After his featured track own the mixtape Strait Tweakin Vol. 1 on hit song Hit Licks over east, Nate Hood decided to take the game serious like the streets, which is what he lived for being from the eastside of chicago. As Nate Hood's musical lyrics improved he was placed in more environments where he could be mentor and be taught the music game more such as artist named Malik Usef, Bang, R. Kelly & many more. Now as a young adult gangsta rap artist, Nate Hood has been marked as "The Hoodlum Of The Go" by many. Nate Hood still pushes to be known throughout the city of Chicago as one with a unique style like no other that is always heard & understood. Nate hood is taking on a new series of underground mixtapes designed to flow throughout the local urban markets & showcasing & promoting various underground artist as well as LA FAMILIA & GMFB. His main objective as an artist is to reincarnate the "Streets Of Chicago" & to make music with a substance that everyone of all ages can relate to. Nate Hood is currently working with the M.R.
