Justin Wilhelm has a burning passion for music so he created Gatsby Records well on a vacation in the summer of 2006. Gatsby Records was officially formed on the 17th day of August in 2006 by Justin and one of his best friends, Mark Bint.
On September 3rd, 2006 the Gatsby Family grew to include Joe Waller of Joe Motion Promotion and Booking. Now Gatsby works to host events and manage bands. Justin and Mark each attend The University of Akron, majoring in marketing, promotion, and business management.
Gatsby Records os devoted to bringing the public the best quality rock music. We revolutionize the way that a record label functions by reconginizing that we are first and foremost the largest fans of our musicians and our purpose is not merely to distrbute your CD but to help you sell merch, manage the band, manage funds, manage tours, etc. We are here to help you with whatever is necessary to alow the musician to focus on music. We specialize in being an Indie label but we are open to rock, punk, grunge, ska, electronica, indie, or anyone or anything that sounds cool and has a marketable demo.
