What do I do? I am a Host, a Coodinator, a DJ, a Jack of all trades! Ive done TV, Radio, Live Events, Restaurants, Nightclubs and concerts. Specifically now I reside in Las Vegas. I am the Event Host (MC) / Coordinator for NETWORKINGVEGAS.com. I also do events nationwide. So how did I get here? Good question, lets talk about it in 3rd person, I find it amusing to type in 3rd person and not accidentally throw in a "I".Lets try:Born in Canton Ohio in 1985; Freddy's journey began in middle school where he began taking the stage with his school band, choir and show choir. He began learning the fundamentals of music, acting, and dance. By 8th grade he was competing in solo singing competitions, and studying jazz / hip-hip dance at Theatre Dance Centre. He was also acting at Theatre 8:15 in Green Ohio. Entering Massillon Washington High School, Freddy continued his music vocally and instrumentally (drumline). He received top ratings in all fields of musical competition, worked with a dance coach, and a vocal coach consistently each week. He was a member of one of the nations top show choirs and concert choirs; The Washingtonians and The Massillon Advanced Chorus. In July and August Freddy worked with Hector Olivera (an internationally acclaimed organist from Germany) on his CD: Visions, providing backup vocals and vocal sound effects on two of Hectors tracks.
After high school graduation in 2003, Freddy enrolled part-time in Kent State University and gained popularity with his page on Myspace.com. He began to host events and fashion shows at different nightclub venues around northeast Ohio (2003-Present). In 2004 he began to learn the art of mixing music and turntablism. He then began to DJ at different clubs, as well as host. It was in 2005-2007 when Freddy began to host different live on stage concerts and events with artists such as Brooke Hogan (VH1’s Hogan Knows Best), Jeannie Ortega, Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees) (VH1’s Mission Man Band), Jordan Knight (New Kids on the Block), PM Dawn, and Jes (VH1s Rock of Love). He participated in recordings for the first two of the above VH1 shows during those events. In September of 2007 he was asked by Mike Scher of MTV to guest VJ MTV’s TRL via webcam, and talk about Justin Timberlake / 50 Cent’s video: AYO Technology. It aired 9-19-2007. Also in 2007 Freddy guest hosted, appeared, and interviewed three times on Ohio’s Z88 WZIP FM on “Terence J’s Top 3 at 3†show. Currently (2007/2008) Freddy is booked for appearances at 3 Ohio nightclubs a month, where he hosts on the microphone, interacts with the crowds, and meets internet fans. In 2008 Freddy became a finalist in the Gotcast.com host search for YoungHollywood.com. He was critiqued by, and/or had the opportunity to speak with casting directors, and reps: Alec Shankman, Annie Roberts, and Andrew Strauser. In January of 2008 Freddy withdrew from his part-time college status to plan his move to Las Vegas and Los Angeles and pursue professional television / event hosting, as well as his rise in the House and Electronic DJ world. He has already began to tune his hosting skills by working with Matt Gallant (Host of: The Animal Planets' "Worlds Funniest Animals") and Marki Costello, the self-proclaimed and widely acknowledged “Queen of Hostingâ€,a highly respected and well-established name in Hollywood.
