About Me

Myspace .. Now Icons.."BLACK COUNTRY BORN & BLACK COUNTRY BRED" Was born in Rowley Regis in 1968 & lived in Blackheath for 29 years before leaving the nest & moving 'down the road' to Cradley Heath. I am an 'only child' and went to school at Highfields Primary and then Siviters Lane / Britannia High School. I have worked in factories both in metal work & plastics since leaving school. Played keyboards in various local bands since 1984 including 'Busload Of Faith', 'Birdman', 'Frohike' & 'Urban Fix' as well as being a part time member of 'Cult Of Wedge' & 'Ambience Collective' (where I adopt the name Arthur Vader). Please feel free to visit the 'Wedge' page listed on my top friends & the 'Collective' page in my friends section. Have never made the big time musically but have played at various local venues such as JB's Dudley, The Rock Cafe 2000 Stourbridge, The Robin R'n'B Club, The Shed Brierley Hill, Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall & headlined the Stourbridge 'Sounds In The Park' I have a wide range of tastes in music, films & TV which I've listed. Have 2 nicknames: Tiger or Tiga-(used by my friends & implies I'm some kind of ladies man, which I ain't) & Pablo - (used by some people at work). I've been a vegetarian since childhood, have an interest in the Paranormal & crystals & I'm a regular blood platelet donor every 3 weeks at the Blood Donor Centre in New Street, Birmingham. I like to think I have a good sense of humour (although I can be moody with the best of 'em) but I try to laugh off or make light of heavy situations. Oh....& I've supported Portsmouth FC since school when they were in the old Division 4...the reason?...used to holiday in Southsea & saw them training & thought they were good. (Do get a few funny looks though when I wear my shirt in an area full of West Brom, Villa, Wolves & Birmingham fans)...

My Interests

Listening to various kinds of music & going to local venues to see live bands. Playing keyboards. Going to the cinema. Owls. Watching TV (especially comedy or late night bizzare documentary's) Going to Memorabilia shows. Glastonbury Tor The paintings of Gilbert and George. Supporting Portsmouth FC. Going to the gym.BELOW IS A SELECTION OF TRACKS BY BANDS I'VE BEEN INVOLVED WITH OVER THE YEARS. AS ANY MUSICIAN OR BAND KNOWS, A LOT OF TIME, EFFORT AND MONEY IS PUT INTO REHEARSING AND RECORDING. SO FOR THIS REASON I'VE PUT ON THESE TRACKS - NOT FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTION OR SALES - BUT SO THAT THEY CAN FINALLY BE HEARD. (All tracks are copyright to the respective bands)..

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet anyone with similar interests or into the same type of music although this is not important 'cos I'm open to other people's tastes. Basically, I would like to meet anyone who wishes to be my friend, with preferably a wicked sense of humour. If I've contacted you with a request - DON'T PANIC! - I'm not some crazy stalker who's gonna track you down & turn up on your doorstep. I've probably noticed something on your page I like - could be the love of the same band or film or I think you seem a humourous person or have an interesting lifestyle. Or it could be that you live local & we have that in common. Just one more thing - I do try to reply to everyone I apply to (may take a couple of days but I usually get there) & sometimes I contact people on a regular basis including IM or msn if they are interested. So if you have got this far without nodding off, & you think I seem an OK type of bloke, then send me a request or add & I look forward to meeting you.
