I thank GOD for EVERY opportunity, and live by the motto “Only What You Do For Christ Will Last”. My favorite slogan is coined by Dr. Bill Cosby. "As you push forward, pull from behind". Romans 8:28 is my favorite scrpiture.

My Interests

I enjoy FREE TIME, reading, teaching and preaching the WORD of GOD, music ministry, writing music, and laughing. My Pet Peeve is when people continue to spell my name with a "ph", even after I've told them that it is spelled with an "f". (UGH)

I'd like to meet:

JESUS, my King.....annointed singers (folks that can really blow), musicians (who don't do it as a hobby), Annointed Preachers of the Gospel, recording artists, anyone who has a musical gift and uses it to uplift the Kingdom. I'd also like to chat with the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, and the soulful Gladys Knight.

Music:

Music is what I do all day, so when driving I listen to talk radio. I am enjoying my new toy (Lincoln MKX) which came with Sirius satellite radio. I enjoy gospel music of course, jazz, old skool rhythm and blues, and classical.

Movies:

My favorite movie is "Coming to America", it's hysterical. I like most African American Flicks with a message. (gotta support) "When the Levees Broke" by Spike Lee remains in the forefront.

Television:

I am TV Land watcher (Good Times, Beaver, Andy Griffith and the like) I also enjoy American Idol, House, Judge Judy, and my favorite and only soap is All My Children.

Books:

I'm reading "Beyond the Worship Wars" by Thomas Long and Zora Neale Hurston's "Their Eyes Were Watching God" for a summer class a Drew Univ. Favorite books are "The Color Purple, Autobiography of Malcolm X, 1984, and The Holy Bible".

Heroes:

My late Grandmother "Hattie Mollie Tucker", my mother "Pearl T. Minatee" my late uncle "Donald K. Tucker", Rev. Lawrence C. Roberts, my Pastor Rev. Lester W. Taylor, Jr. and all who serve as role models for young people. Mad respect for Oprah Winfrey.

My Blog
