2. We welcome all artists in all genres. Please support and respect one another. NO HATERS ALLOWED (negativity=dropped from our friends list).
3. Have fun! Promote, meet new friends, make connections, offer advice, become a part of the San Jose music movement!
4. We have our top 40 set to 'randomize' (it changes everytime you refresh the page) to show support for all San Jose artists.
5. You don't have to be an artist to join. Fans, promoters, managers, media, studios, DJs, venues, everybody is welcome but you must be from shark city!

"I decided to create this profile simply out of love and pride for my city. I've grown tired of hearing that the only credible music scenes in California are L.A. and Frisco (please understand that I have no disrespect towards any city or town in Cali). I'm a producer, solo artist, and a fan (and I'm in the friends list times 3)....I choose to remain anonymous and I hope that eventually this profile will grow on it's own with the help of all of you. On a more practical note, I find that San Jose Music Scene makes it easier to connect with locals (I hate searching through hundreds of profiles on my friends list just to find that one band who played at the Blank Club last weekend).
