Take Their Hearts is a group of 5 guys who came together late in 1999 to do one thing, perform hard heavy music and gain friends and family in the process. With little or no experience at the time, under the name of Trenchfoot from Detroit, MI, they began to build their skills as a band and as individuals. After a long road and a substantial amount of growth Trenchfoot finally put out their first shot at an album, First Assault (2002), with the original line up. With little knowledge of the industry First Assault was pushed on the underground circuit and any where else the guys could put it out. Not feeling content they got back to work and released Bleeding for the Sake of Bleeding, another independent release, in 2004. Bleeding for the Sake of Bleeding was a hard hitting metal/hardcore album, described as “Hatebreed and Slayer thrown into a blender†(thegauntlet.com), that went over well with kids in the hardcore scene all over the east coast. With a new drummer and a fresh look on their sound Trenchfoot toured the east coast on their own dime pushing Bleeding for the Sake of Bleeding and their craft. Trenchfoot was on the way to gaining a sturdy fan base thanks to their “over energetic performance†and ability to meet every person they came across and make them friends rather then fans. Shortly after the band felt like things were on the rocks and due to legal issues, a bad year for tour vans and money, took a new name and a new direction. After a small line up switch Take Their Hearts was unveiled in late 2007. With the same skull cracking attitude they hit the stages to remind people who they were. Take Their Hearts is determined to do what it takes to take it to the next level. Knowing it all starts with the music, they are currently writing new material to the very best of their abilities to make 2008 a new starting point to prove themselves again. This “grown up†version of the young hard hitters they once were is even more eager and has more knowledge and know how to take on any stage in any town for any crowd and drop some jaws. Once the ball is rolling for this band there will be no stopping them so join in or get out of the way. TTH.
