About Me

Words by T Crannam: Hailing from East London S-Clique (Shangooli - slang originated by Roll Deep Entourage; Unorthodox, unique) aka Sneaky & SkitSo deliver a fresh urban and contemporary edge to the street poetry that is rap. Working with a variety of producers & production companies, (DEK, Hotheadz, True Tiger, D-Power, Dice Recordings, Boy Better Know, Reality Bytes, NoBling, ChannelU, 1st Base etc...), S-Clique have an extensive catalogue that encompasses all street music styles including RnB, hip-hop & grime. Lyrically they have embraced all that is current as well as bringing a new & inventive approach-in some cases virtually rewriting part of the English language! On the underground scene S-Clique have spent the last few years creating a great vibe & building a large following that can regularly be seen at events. Community radio has provided a further platform to reach listeners of a more discerning musical background becoming notorious after becoming managers & hosting with their daily breakfast shows on RawBlaze 90.00FM (12am-12pm 7 days a week!) they are currently on DejaVu 92.3FM weekly Tuesday mornings 2-10am, with appearances & features on Xtreme 101.7FM, Flames 94.4FM, Freeze92.7FM, Y2K 90.6FM, Manic FM, Pyrotechnic FM many more as well as legal radio stations including Kiss FM, Choice FM & BBC Radio 1Xtra. S-Clique are continuing to build their following by appearing on a number underground mix CDs & DVDs including Lord Of The Decks, Risky Roads, Hott2Death as well terrestrial & digital television slots such as BEN TV’s No Bling, Channel U’s Pain N Poetry, Channel 4’s RawBrittania, BBC News & ITV’s Nightlife. Live performances is the key aspect of the S-Clique philosophy which enables Sneaky & SkitSo to display their unique 'back to back' style. Venues that have hosted S-Clique PAs & DJ sets include the various Carling Academies, The Hackney Empire, Ocean Music Venue, Palace Pavillion, The Dome, The Scala, The Mean Fiddler, Koko, Ministry Of Sound, Copyright, Departure, Torts, Player's club, Silks & Spices, The London Astoria, The Hammersmith Palais as well a number of other bars & clubs in & around the south-east. S-Clique also perform at numerous out-door events such as The Notting Hill Carnival, Luton Carnival, Respect Festival, Rise Festival, Soul In The City to name a few. Qualified in event management S-Clique has started S-Clique promotions with G-Force Camp & has an extensive street team set up in all London boroughs that regularly help fill up various club nights, live events & festivals. With published releases of tracks in Jamaica & Mauritius, video projects planned as well as the constantly growing audience in the UK, S-Clique are well on their way to major success.
