Penchant for: crossword puzzles, red wine, neckties and other “old man†apparel, hot tea (especially Chinese reds or African Red Bush), late night driving, live music, drinking with friends.Enjoy: Reading, philosophy, photography, politics, making a difference and contributing to the collective voice, sometimes riding the flow like waves, other times making waves (as well as pushing envelopes), studying Sociology and Human Sexuality, participant observation, cooking, yoga, saying fuck, car karaoke/air band, dancing.Can’t live without: traveling, diet dr. pepper, music, silver halide, a camera, the beach, the snow, Goldfish crackers.Suffers from: a slight case of OCD that manifests itself in the most interesting of ways, too many thoughts or ideas at the same time so as to prevent productivity or sleeping.Perplexed by: racism, inequality, hatred, ignorance, people who accept anything that they are spoon-fed and never question what else there might be.I refuse: to settle, to accept what I am told is “normalâ€, to accept someone else’s ideas for what should govern my life, to stay silent, to allow my ridiculously bad luck to keep me from being optimistic, to live without passion, to apologize for being myself.
