Dj Alain Deloin
As a really young boy Dj Deloin (born in Antwerp-Belgium) started experimenting with his tape decks and recorded friends singing over songs...at that time it was really obvious he had an interest for music and sound!
He grew up with the funk & soul his mother played around him...Those records came in handy later on in life!
At the age of 15 he started to get an interest in hip hop music. It started with Ice-T, The Beastie Boys, De La Soul and the all the others that passed the revue. At that time it was all hip hop that he played on the one’s and two’s. Later on he started to expand his interest in different music styles...but always with a funky and soulful feel to it.
At the age of 17 he and a friend started to get an interest in the battle aspect of dj’ing so he expanded his knowledge and focused on scratching and beat-juggling.
At the age of 18 he started to use the records from his mothers collection and found out that so much had been sampled.
When he turned 18 he also started to play Funk / Old School and Disco on parties organized by friends in some of Antwerp’s finest location’s : Sur Plus , Obelix , Le Beau Zoo , Diamond Princes. Also he started to experiment with his computer and soundcard.Some intro’s were made and then there came a brake...
6 years later...A new start!! All attention goes to music now...
Surrounding himself with people that share the same interest, starting of a residency in a local bar where he came for years and also doing the warm up in a resto/club/bar where he had the chance to play with a long list of big names (to name a few : Osunlade, dj Spinna, Sven van Hees, Martin Soulveig, Joe Claussel, ...)
Also played on parties with several local and international names.
Now he’s a resident on The LoveBelow party’s where he played with Jazzy Jeff (2x) , N8N, The Milkshakerz, Gus, Mauz, Timaxx, Lefto, Rashida and many many more...
Thanks to his large range of musical interests he’s able to play for all kinds of crowds and locations!
He can deliver the right background music for a loungy dinner experience that works its way up to a filled dansfloor. Whatever he does it will be soulful and funky at all times...
Have him surprise you when he plays his favorite set filled with some of the nicest old school funk&soul hits...taking you back in time...Things are evolving the right way for Dj Deloin.
