About Me

'sometimes it's not enough to know the meaning of things- sometimes we have to know what things don't mean aswell; like what does it mean to not know what the person you love is capable of ? Things fall apart- especially all the neat order of rules and laws. The way we look at the world is the way we really are - see it from a fair God and everything looks cheerful - clapped to a higher plateau you'll see murder and plunder. Truth and beauty are in the eye of the beholder - I stopped trying to figure everything out a long time ago' Dylan ----------------Outside my window was the pink blossom of an old almond tree and a big blue sky and all I could hear were words coming from somewhere else…..all kinds of words being spoken as though they meant something or about something that had happened or about something that was about to happen or might not happen but no words about what was happening right there and then……in the meantime I wrote a song and painted some pictures about 'just this thing' and some time ago in high winds that escaped my sleeping attention the almond tree fell down.........Sometime before that and on the mornin after I met him part of the way he stopped me to talk. He said 'I really like your concepts' and I told him that I didn't have any and that he'd have to explain to someone else what they are. I had to go...I was feeling hungry. He offered his hand and I took it but really I was thinking about the night before when he had used my caravan as a time machine and had broken the window clip. When I returned that pale shadow of Clarissa was sitting there looking at the bent metal. I joined her of course and travelled back without her knowing a thing about it. When we awoke it was a fine evening in early June and I told her I would be gone within the hour. She asked me to explain and I told her it was better to do it now; before this illusion takes on the mantle of reality. Here on this here thing are some of those pictures about 'just that thing' and some about other things:It's The Art of Stopping the World..........
inspired by The Teachings of Don Juan/Carlos Castenada. It all started with a simple statement; 'We are surrounded by infinity'.A communal paint! MyGen Profile Generator

My Interests

Everything is interesting if you have a mind to be interested! But I suppose I'm drawn to creative things in whatever way they come about. That kind of includes anything or everything and all things are connected. I just try and express it in visual and musical forms.

I'd like to meet:

I meet good people all the time who do their bit to make the world a better place, either through their generous spirit and their actions or their art. I'm only up for meeting artists, singers, musicians, peeps interested in the environment, the revolution of the human spirit, those that have integrity, those that can enjoy the many simple pleasures of life, those that can laugh and smile, those with heart and compassion and anyone who has something to say about anything that is worth saying anything about. 'It's Life n Life Only'.

Music:

Music is good. For the artist it evolves...just like everything else.

Movies:

Hats off to good film makers who can take you to places!

Television:

Don't watch too much TV but I'd sit down to watch The Simpsons!

Books:

Just a list as it comes to mind... Carlos Castenada and the series of books 'The Teachings of Don Juan'; Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance,To Kill a Mockingbird, The Life of Pi, Of Mice and Men, A Passage to India, Mrs Dalloway, Times Arrow, Sophies World, The Prophet, No Direction Home, Heavens Mirror, The Dark Side of God....

Heroes:

Most heroes are unheard of but of those who are heard of I would include Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi. They both changed the world for the better without firing a shot or raising or a hand. They drew upon a kind of human dignity and spiritual force that seems to be mostly forgotten in favour of the dogma's of ignorance, ego and greed...who, at this time, seem to be setting the agenda.
