This group is here to arrest the atmosphere.Under the leadership and direction of Minister Derrick McDuffey, Chosen Generation has been in existence for almost a decade, ministering on stages large and small around the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Hailing from Mississippi, the classically trained Overseer Derrick McDuffey blends a large portion of traditional gospel, mixed with an east-coast gospel ensemble meets west-coast mass choir feel, and then presents it in the spirit with the anointing. Chosen Generation is known for changing the feel of a service from that of entertainment to that of repentant and heartfelt worship. Utilizing the voices of many soloists in their own rights from different churches all around Portland, Oregon, Chosen Generation has opened up and/or sung background for such artists as Ted & Sheri, Stephen Hurd, Micah Stampley, and Lonnie Hunter.Derrick McDuffey & Chosen Generation brings a fresh sound and a reviving spirit to the Pacific Northwest, and are preparing for their first live recording after toiling many years in the background preparing themselves for large-scale ministry.
