In Life, As In Music, Seek Harmony

About Me

I've been an avid musician since early childhood. It all started out with a little concertina, then an accordion, then … some long-haired, mop-headed blokes from ‘across the pond’ came over here and, well, … the accordion was traded in for a guitar. Like a lot of other musicians, I played in school functions, church folk groups, high school garage bands, and some duos. I'm still indentured to corporate servitude (translation: I still have a day job) and have to travel occasionally. The up side is that I get to frequent the local open mics & I've had the pleasure of playing venues in numerous states including Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, Experience Music Project (Seattle), Swallow Hill Café (Denver), SMU’s McFarland Auditorium (Dallas) and the Music Mill (Six Flags, Arlington). When I'm in town, I try to make out to some of the local open mics around Houston as well as playing and singing with Harmony Groove. I'm a member of HAAM, the Houston Association of Acoustic Musicians, and The Woodlands Songwriters Association. I'm a confirmed ‘harmoholic’ (one addicted to tight harmonies).
