Bassist James Rosocha holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. A student of New Jersey's late jazz legend/ guitarist Harry Leahey and Dixie Dregs/ Steve Morse Band -bassist Dave LaRue, James has worked with various threatre, blues, R&B, jazz, fusion, funk and rock groups andhas been fortunate to share the stage with jazz trumpet legend Randy Brecker, guitarist Hiram Bullock, Jay Beckenstein and Jeremy Wall of Spyro Gyro and Phish leader Trey Anastasio. He appears alongside Trey in the new Phish Companion book, which documents the band's history and music. Throughout his entire career, James has remained a long-time member of the BD Lenz Jazz Quintet who is signed to the NY jazz label "Apria Records" and who's music appears on various TV and radio programs.
