Dearest friends and family,
These days we find our lives overwhelmed with heartache
Our hearts fill with the burden of our loss
We mourn the tragic passing of David, a true companion in our journey through life.
Rarely are lives touched by such a unique spirit, so wild, so true.
David touched our lives in so many ways…
His antics made us laugh,
His compassion soothed our hearts,
His friendship warmed our souls.
David will remain a part of all of our lives.
We invite you to join us for his remembrance, not to mourn his passing, but to celebrate his life.
In reflecting on his life, those closest to David concluded that no man made structure could be expected to contain David’s spirit or the breadth of emotion brought forth by his passing. For this reason we have chosen to honor David’s passing on a scale that matched the size of his heart.

Still, the last sad memory hovers round, and sometimes drifts across like floating mist, cutting off sunshine and chilling the rememberance of happier times.

There have been joys too great to be described in words, and there have been griefs upon which I have dared not to dwell;

and with these in mind I say: Climb if you will, but remember courage and strength are nought without prudence, and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime.
