We are Reginald and Ronald Kray and are notorious "East End" criminals who have an obsession with encouraging each other to greater levels of violence and extending our personal power and wealth through serious protection rackets in LONDON,ENGLAND...NO ONE fucks with US...
We were born in 1933 and made our first appearance at the Old Bailey in 1950, where a case of assault was dismissed for lack of evidence...of course, In 1952 we entered a period of National Service and we were well known for our violence, serious trouble with the military authorities and periods in custody.After being released we commenced a period of increasing control over criminals, pubs and clubs in the East End of London...we were taking over..London was going to be ours...On 5 th November 1956 Ron was jailed for 3 years for assaulting Terence Martin in a gang-related incident..In February 1960 Reg was imprisoned for 18 months for protection-related threats and whilst he was in prison, Peter Rachman (the head of a violent landlord operation) "gave" Ron the Esmeralda's Barn night club in Knightsbridge to increase our "influence" in the West End with "celebrities" and famous people rather than just East End criminals.We were assisted in this by a banker Alan Cooper who needed protection from the rival Richardson gang from South London.Christmas 1965 marked a confrontation between us and the Richardsons at the Astor Club when a Richardson associate, George Cornell,he was mouthing off about what he was gonna do to us and how we didn't scare him etc...BAD MOVE. A gang war followed, and our associate Richard Hart was murdered at Mr Smith's club in Catford.Ron took revenge by killing George Cornell in The Blind Beggar pub in Whitechapel Road... Our increased Intimidation and "word" out to people of what would happen should they talk prevented anyone from grassing but that didn't last...On 12 th December 1965 we assisted Frank Mitchell ("The Mad Axeman") to escape from Dartmoor prison, but Mitchell became increasingly violent and unstable whilst staying our flat in Barking Road.He had to be "sorted" and disappeared. The body was never recovered.In another twist of fate Ron gave a gun and £100 to Jack "The Hat" McVitie with instructions to murder Leslie Payne for us and the promise of a further £400 when the murder had taken place but Payne remained alive,McVitie had also been running his mouth off about US..Reg went to collect the £100 and "have a word",McVitie of course shit himself but for some reason Reg was moved by McVitie's tale of sorrow and gave McVitie £50 anyway. This caused arguments between us and led to a stand-off between us and McVitie, something had to be done....we invited him to a "party" where Reg, (egged on) murdered him. McVitie's was another body never found.
We scared people so much that a few of the spinless fuckers cracked and after a few grasses spilled their guts the police moved in...we were arrested on 9 th May 1968..once in police custody all the grasses slowly started to come out of the woodwork and have the confidence to give evidence...that was enough for them to try and convict us..Our trial which was held at the Old Bailey lasted 39 days and was one of the most expensive in British History and the most expensive in British criminal history..at the end of this trial we were sentenced to life imprisonment and "the establishment" thought that was it for good...how WRONG they were...The Kray
