He began his rapping career at the ripe age of 16. Persuing through a child hood of little financial means and inner city living, E-DRO's determination to make it out of the turmoil that so many youths can't seem to escape has only proven his dedication and strength to become one of the greatest rap artist of all time.
E-DRO has been apart of several rap acts throughout his career. The most recent collaboration was with the US group named " Lost on the Corner", featuring D.C. 's own Jett Black and Foool.
In 2000 E-DRO completed his first CD "DC Taken Over" but due to insufficient capital the album never made it to distribution. In 2006 a record label by the name of Spit 16 now Upper 11 records, originally based in the United Kingdom and now has offices in New York City signed the up and coming artist.
E-DRO has performed at many local venues around the Washington D.C. area and toured alongside Lil Mo and Carl Thomas on the 2003 Seagrams Gin Live 23 City Tour. In 2005 he was also a featured artist at the Urban Music Awards in the U.K. featuring Maxie Priest and Craig David. The following year he performed at the Bigger than Hip Hip Tour with such artist as Dead Presidents and various UK artist. With the musical support of DJ LES, E-Dro again proved himself to be amongst the very best.
Being a U.S. based artist, the U.K. has well accepted his style and music with open arms. He's featured in RWD Magazine, Invincible Magazine and twice in the Hip Hop Connection as well as radio interviews with Choice Fm, Deal Real Records and Colourful Radio.
E-DRO basis his recordings on the situations everyday people are faced with. Rather it be world issues and war, streetlife or woman or just life in general, he is sure to capture you with the unmistakable deep tones and vocab that's sure to make his music bound for success.
With the DJ LES and E-DRO Mix tape "From my Hood to Your Hood" he has systematically placed himself on a level of some of the hottest artist out today.
