Chicago native ScootyWoot, born Jerime Winters was destined to be on the music scene. After completing high school, SW was recruited to Grambling State University to play in the "world famed" tiger marching band. After hours of practicing on the drumline, Scoot spent hours drinking beers and writing rhymes with longtime friend Troy "Tou Tight" Toussaint, and cousin Jeffrey "Grim Cheafa" Winters along with hometown friend Gangsta Mike. Together they were known as The "Zombie Tribe" Original in every since of the word. Each bringing a very distinct ingredient to the formula that made their songs so impressive.The group later dismantled with each member residing back in Chicago. All accept Scoot. SW decided to stick around and finish school while continuing to perfect his flow. For a while SW was being overlooked in the game, not for lack of lyrical content but more for displaying too much. After switching up the formula a bit to conform to the now, without losing himself in the process, SW began seeing some success.Teaming up with long time friend Aaron "REFLEX Island and Shreveport native "Dude" resulted in the underground club banger "The BIG one. SW later then released the MONOPOLY mixe tape which later went on to go "ghetto gold". (Everybody in the hood had a burnt copy) Having achieved success there SW decided that it was time to leave the small town of Grambling behind........and here we are!
