My birth name is Mr Disco, but my friends call me Ben. I'm friendly, kind and I always wear Adidas. Run DMC's "My Adidas"? I wrote that. Like Willie Gault, I am as smooth as a chocolate swirl. For some reason, though, people always look at me funny when I say that.

I'd like to meet:

Fancy.

If I had to pick one person who is my hero and who I admire more than anybody else in the entire world, it is Steve Yzerman. He is the embodiment of everything I have ever wanted to be. If you want to know what makes me cry, it's this video:

For those who have seen GRINDHOUSE:

A little bit o' "O" never hurt anybody, although it may offend a few people:

Heroes:

Steve Yzerman, The Captain. He's been my hero since I was 9 years old. The epitome of class, dedication, excellence and selflessness:
Bernard Sumner, or as I know him, Barney. The greatest genius in the history of pop music - yes, I just said that:
Paul Haig. For creating truly and deeply spiritual pop music that really understands love and also taught me things I didn't know before. Also, the Interference Mix of Blue For You is quite possibly the most danceable track ever recorded:
Ingmar Bergman. Although he has frankly been a dick to the women in his life - and I don't admire that in the least - his films have changed my life and taught me an unfathomable amount about myself and the importance of love and faith. The fact that he made WINTER LIGHT alone makes him one of my heroes:
Bez, for teaching me to enjoy all things in moderation:
Walter Payton, "Sweetness", for being the hardest-working, best all-around football player of all-time, and for being completely unique and selfless while doing it:
Dan Flavin, for making completely innovative and life-changing art far more beautiful than the work of any artist I've ever seen (save only for Vilhelm Hammershøi), all while having a great sense of humor:
Lao Tzu, for being one of the wisest people in human history:
Jerry Seinfeld, for being such a damn genius:
Søren Kierkegaard, for having the best hair of all the theistic existentialists:
And finally, the greatest role model of them all, for teaching me the true meaning of fidelity and honor: Joey Buttafuoco.
...just kidding.
