My Interests

I don't really have any interests, 'cause after all, I'm a book! But I do want to meet as many people as I can. Lately, I've been all about shameless self-promotion, as I'm trying to buy my way out of bondage, by paying off my publishers! I'd like to meet:

Anybody interested in reading about the dark, forgotten history of Key West and the Florida Keys. I travel anywhere!

Music:

I like all kinds of law/crime/prison related stuff. Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak," "I Fought the Law," by the Clash, "Prison Sex," by Tool.

Movies:

CALLAHAN! That's right, folks. I LOVE the Dirty Harry films, Bronson's Death Wish series and, of course, Scarface! You name it, if it's violent and crime-related, I'm all about it. The Warriors was great, too!

Television:

TPB'S FOREVER!!!! Mr. Lahey... Know What I'm Sayin, Sayin.... I'm big on Law and Order and the CSI's, as well as 48 Hours, City Confidential, and COPS, here and there. In my lighter moments I go for Reno 911, Chappelle's Show and South Park.

Books:

In Cold Blood, anything by Canadian true crime guru Max Haines, old pulp detective magazines, etc. Being a non-fiction creature, I don't read a lot of novels. Though I totally dig Kersey/Montana/Callahan.

Heroes:

Truman Capote, the aforementioned Max Haines, Keith Richards for his get-up-and-go, Hunter Thompson.
