MOVIES MOVIES MOVIES. I'm a film geek. I LOVE them. Can't get enough.
Acting
WRITING (hopefully one day it will be my full time profession)
Hanging out with friends, having a beer. Nothing better...well maybe sex is better...but it's a lot messier...hanging out is cleaner than sex.
Music (I play the drums and the Trombone)
Kevin Smith Movies (The man who got me interested in filmmaking)
Graphic Design
Photography (Hence my overloaded photobucket)
Watching people dance at Respecs (Highly entertaining...like a full motion dry heave)
Waging war on Popped Collars (Ok, so maybe I have a complex)
More to come...

I have two MAJOR requirements: Intelligence and sense of humor. No, you don't have to be a stand up comedienne, but I'd LOVE it if you knew what was funny, and how to laugh. My biggest problem, is that it seems there was a law passed in South Florida back in the early 1900's, that banned all intelligent individuals from the state. If you're an intelligent, funny outlaw, MESSAGE me and we will click. By outlaw, I'm referring to the above "dry humor" of the Florida Intelligence Ban...I'm not ACTUALLY looking for outlaws, especially not the Train Robbing variety. The fact that I've been forced to clarify this proves my point about intelligence and common sense in this state.

Soudgarden, U2, Weezer, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Doors, The Beatles, The Shins, The Darkness, Interpol, Toadies, Cake, Radiohead, Prince, Johnny Cash, And, yes, I grew up on musical theatre, so I listen to showtunes by the score (wow...I couldn't have sounded gayer than I did making a pun about musicals.) I swear, I'm straight; but, to paraphrase Matt Dillon in There's Something About Mary, "I can't help it, I love those goofy little fuckers". And LOTS MORE.
I have attempted to make a top 25 list, and still have left out too many...I'll do my best to show what I like:
Shawshank Redemption
Forrest Gump
Good Will Hunting
Shakespeare In Love
The Graduate
Lawrence Of Arabia
Back To The Future
Empire Strikes Back
Three Amigos
Spaceballs
South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut
Trainspotting
Blazing Saddles
Austin Powers (the FIRST one)
Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, J&SB Strike Back, Jersey Girl, Clerks II (As you can see, I'm a big Kevin Smith fan)
Swingers
E.T.
The Princess Bride
The Indiana Jones Trilogy
Star Wars Trilogy
The Incredibles
Animal House
Dr. Strangelove (Tied with Blazing Saddles as the all time greatest comedy/satire (With a STRONG runner up in SOuth Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut)
Plus, a whole SLEW of 80's flicks that absolutely shaped who I am and what my tastes are: The Goonies, Weird Science, The Last Starfighter, Adventures In Babysitting (Screw you, it's a great flick...and enjoy it while you can because Raven Symone is going to be remaking it and tarnishing it forever!), Ghostbusters, The Explorers...ok, gotta cut the list while I still can.
There are many more, I'll amend some later.
My NEW favorite is LOST. Actually, need to scratch that, since I have recently gotten into Battlestar Galactica and House...the two best scripted and realized telvision shows on the air right now. Otherwise, Carnivale, Sopranos, Family Guy, South Park, Adult Swim, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Critic, The Simpsons (Back in the day at least), 24, The Office (Both the British and the American counterparts), 30 Rock, Scrubs, Nick At Nite (addicted to it), LAW AND ORDER (Again addicted, especially to L&O SVU), anything on HDTV...Oh, and let's not forget my favorite show of the 90's...TWIN PEAKS baby!
Favorite book of all time is John Irving's A Prayer For Owen Meany...but, I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan and PROUD to admit it! Aside from those, I read all over the place, Stephen King to Ray Bradbury to Elmore Leonard to Ernest Hemmingway. Also, Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle's update of Dante's Inferno, entitled simply, Inferno is a great little pieces of sci fi just waiting to be adapted into a screenplay...I really need to get on that! Gonna just add a few more authors on here while I'm thinking about it: Kurt Vonnegut, Ralph Ellison, Bret Easton Ellis, Dave Barry,James Ellroy, and Mary Allyce (My Mom!)
Charlie Kaufman (Screenwriter) Kevin Smith (Director/Screenwriter/Actor) My Grandfather (funny bastard) Eric Cartman (Malcontent)
